In the third quarter, the Knicks (shooting anywhere from five to 30 feet away from the basket) made two on the right side of the basket, missed none, made three and missed two straight away from the basket and missed 7 and made only two on the left side of the basket. Their taking way too many shots on the left side, with no success. Either shoot it from the right side, or at least straight away.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Chandler's taking it hard to the rim... good to see.

I agree, much more aggressive tonight. Makes you wonder where this was the past six games. The unforced mistakes are still there though. He's had a couple of doozy's tonight.

ANd right now the Knicks once again staved off a cat's run. Big chance here to take the game over!

I guess he is taking a note from his point guard because Duhon preceeded those turnovers with some of his own and that beautiful one where he just dribble off his foot without any pressure.

Knicks need to just settle down and play their offense. Instead they get weird and start this standaround half court offense of nobody wants to move or take a shot and they fall apart.

Here's trautwig talking about needing a go-to-guy down the stretch. That's fine, except, when the team is playing as they are right now, what does that go-to-guy do? He goes 1-1 all by himself possession after possession and you win or lose based on whether or not he can hit bad shots.

So that's just stupid. Just keep playing your offensive style that got you this far.

Who said the final 6 minutes of an NBA has to come down to a go-to-guy going 1-1 for the rest of the game?

What kind of crap is that.

Settle the hell down, stop with the idiot turnovers, MOVE on offense, and you'll get back to wide open shots!

Breen has been bringing up a good point. The Knicks are still unaware of who should be getting the ball in close games at this point of the season. You can't blame the players, that is coaching. At this point, there is no reason why a team doesn't have a gameplan in the closing minutes of a tight game. What the hell are you doing in practice?

either Tim Thomas lacks any sweatglands, or he just never hustles... i don't think i've ever seen him w/a drop of sweat on his face in all the years i've watched him play.

Totally agree! They need to get 'a' free throw. Shooting from way the hell out there on a regular basis and no inside game is getting pretty old. These guys can't close this game out. They seem out of sink with each other.
I'll never trust this' team again.

While I do agree with you.. is there anyone worth getting the ball everytime in close games?

LOL this team is so full of mental midgets. No excuse for this collapse. None at all. They're just playing like absolute IDIOTS out there the past few minutes.

They miss a few shots, the opponent makes a few shots, and they just completely unwravel like children!!!

Chandler took it on himself to take it to the basket after watching what was going on. Where is the coaching at?

The Knicks are 1 for 8 outside of the paint. They couldn't hit water if they fell off of a boat. They got to take it inside.

I think Al Harrington WOULD be the goto guy but I don't think you can depend on him to take a high % shot.
