There's zero need to try to recycle anyone not named Curry and Jeffries at this point. Everyone else fits the master plan. So whether or not they stink isn't really an issue anymore.

We're playing for the 2010 lotto. We're not playing to improve today's core. That ship sailed along with Isiah's 5 billion attempts to improve this disaster of a core of players. No thanks, no more of that please.

We'll ride with what we got, sans whatever could come back in shipping curry or jeffries out, or comes with an nbdl signing, etc. That's fine... it may stink to watch but lets face it there's no legit moves this team could make to improve itself drastically AND maintain a run for 2010.

So...just let it go. Yeah, Q, Malik, Marbury, TT, Jerome all stink. Guess what? So what. 2010.

That's the way I look at it. Q is incosistent, i do want to upgrade the position and I think we will eventually. In the meantime all I want is for limited guys like Q and JJ is to see them play hard. They do, so I have little complaint.

Bipp regardless I think we can all agree he needs to be upgraded. My main thing is he doesnt get much grief for his shot selection when I see it to be honestly the worst out of Zbo, Jamal all those guys... i really do.. I might be in the minority there but i really just see the majority of the shots he takes as bad ones. Even the ones that go in im like why the hell did u take that shot q.... sigh

Q Rich is a role player. Unfortunately, due to the overall lack of talent on this squad, he plays a lot.

This hate reminds me of the hate on KT, and how so many pined for when he would be traded, that we would have addition by subtraction.

He isnt getting any younger. He is going to opt out after this season to get his long paycheck. I can see a team throwing full MLE money at Q

That'd be a dream come true for us but I think that's as likely as Curry opting out after this season and Jerome exercising his ETO this offseason and Jeffries waiving his trade kicker and opting out in 2010...etc. Not going to happen!

I mean, let's be real, Q has been horrible for several years. Most he gets is 3M for 3 years - and that's from some stupid team. He isn't getting a 5 year MLE or something. No way. So given that, he's NOT leaving 9.3M on the table in 09/10!!!

Player options should only be given to star players in their youth/prime. It should never be given to bums or questionable players - it should always be a team option so when a team like us gets stuck with bums? We can terminate them a year early. Imagine if we could terminate Curry in 2010, Q in 09, Jeffries in 10, Jerome in 09? Wow, talk about a windfall.

LeBron, Dwight, Kobe, Duncan, I mean these are the guys who get the PLAYER option so they can seek a better deal or sign with a new team if the present one stinks.

BUMS should never get that option! For they're never going to do anything more than PICK IT UP.

Q - Stinks - 9.3M in 09/10 - He's picking that UP.
Curry - Stinks - 21M in 09/10 and 10/11 - Hes picking those UP.
Jerome - Stinks - 6.6M in 09/10 - He's picking that up.
Jeffries - Stinks - 6.8M in 10/11 - He's picking that UP.

No way any of those four give up that guaranteed money. Those should have all been TEAM options.

You cannot get read of him because he has no value in any form. Uninsured, mediocre, a bit out of shape, with no defined position.
He, Jeffries, Jerom, Eddy, Steph, Malik - just a painfull hangover after wild party of Isiah era.
Some disease just needs time to heal. We just started and removed 3 of 9. Still 6 more to go. Let’s wait it up...

Raja Bell will probably be the guy who replaces Q in the SL. February 9th.

i think Brown will hold onto Bell. I think he'll send Diaw to us though.

as for QRich, i think he is a leader on this team. i have no problem with him starting and playing about 20-24 minutes a night. i think his minutes should be cut down, but that's it.
