its about Jan 5 that 10 day contracts become an option- I would expect a player like Sims would get picked up then, if not sooner.

With the talk of Frank Williams.....think back.....Frank had that good stretch of games and then bam for no good reason, Isiah makes the stephon marbury deal!!!! Son of a bitch!!!

That's Isiahls whole career in a nutshell.....changing **** drastically for no good reason, mid season.....ah! Thank God for Donnie!

man, you can lay a lot at Zeke's doorstep, but Frank Williams being booty cheeks is not one of them. Lil Franky was a scrub. I'd be one thing if he blew up on another team.

One fine week 5 years ago in late December:

Dec 26: Frank Williams goes 8/15, Gets 18 pts, 6 assists and the Knicks beat Memphis 98-94.

Dec 27: Frank Williams earns the starting role, goes 5/8 for 14 pts, 4 asts and 3 stls and the Knicks rout the Miami Heat 100-80

Dec 29: Now entrenched as the starter for a 2nd game, Frankie Baby tops himself, hitting 5/7, 4/6 from downtown and scoring 18 pts while dishing out another 5 assits and grabbing 2 stls. Knicks blow out the Magic 114-86.

Decemeber 30: Frankie turns down the dial on the scoring, but gets 6 pts, 7 asts and 2 stls as the Knicks crush Miami for the 2nd time in 3 games, 102-73.

And the Frank strains his groin, misses the next 4 games, the Knicks trade for Stephon Marbury and the Dark Ages begin.

Later Frank reappears in the playoffs to shove Jason Kidd. He hasn't been heard from since.

Meanwhile, I don't know why no one ever gives Nate Robinson's old teammate Will Conroy any looks. Guy is getting 25 pts, 7 asts, 3 stls right now- 48% shooting.

Hey has anyone out there seen Courtney Sims play? I haven't and I'm trying to get a feel for what type of player he might be. Looked around the Net, no scouting reports, no video, no nothing...

We looking at a better version of Randolph Morris or something more. Anyone know?

This is all I got:

Courtney Sims looks like he is in pain no matter what he is doing. I’m not sure if he’s actually injured, but I would give him a lot of whistles just because he always looks like he was just hit by a freight train (or Dakota’s Brad Stricker, who we will get to later). He’s also a beast, as he’s currently averaging 22.5 points, 14.5 boards, and 8 blocks through two games. Though it’s just two games, that’s what I like to call not bad. Even though the Wizards don’t have a solid big getting minutes (yet), he was matched up against Sioux Falls Chris Alexander the night before, so you can’t discount these numbers too much.
Donnie should comb the NBDL
