Knicks don't need to trade for Nash with Duhon already establishing himself as a team leader and captain. He's playing well.....even if it were possible....Nash? he's older and on the downside but now he's washed up? his numbers are down because of Terry Porter.

Nash needs to be traded though....He's openly complaining about the coach....Porter doesnt want Nash handling the rock as much....so get Porter a point guard he likes....

BTW.....I'm not liking how the Suns have been doing business since they hired Steve Kerr.

Steve Kerr is clueless as GM. He mishandled Marion (if what D'Antoni says and what has been written lately is true). Marion is not a great player, but was made to feel unwelcome. They needed to add another piece instead of making a change that really changed the complexion of the team like they did. For example, if they made amove for Camby this offseason, and had kept Marion, they'd be as well-equipped to win the title as anyone. And letting a guy like D'Antoni go for an unproven coach- that's proving to be a really silly decision.

EDIT- though obviously since they didn't have cap space, they may not have provided the financial relief the Clips did for the Nugs.

I just don't get the total disrespect....Marion was the Pheonix Suns for alot of years and they treated him like a piece of caca.

It's the same old tired stuff...new GM comes in and get his guys in and trades away the guys he didn't bring in himself.....I expect Nash to be gone also. Amare is gonna be the only player left on Pheonix from the D'antoni era.

Amare will walk in 2010 too unless they convince another huge name to join him in Phoenix.

Marbury is persona non grata in PHX, at any price. Nash would still be a great point in MDA's system. I don't really see the matchups favoring the Knicks but I think karma makes this a very winnable game.

Nash for Marbs would be a PR nightmare in Phoenix. Two-time MVP for a known problem player that Phoenix has had first hand experience with. I expect to see this on the blog with tonight's game coming, but the concept is more based in what is best for NY, not reality. And that's not 'just bloggin'
You know I gonna spin wit it
