Sorry bro! hahaa, I gotta stop smoking so early in the day, right??

Its cool. Not for nothing... I'm one of those people that are a PE jr "sentamentalist". Is that a word? I dunno.. lol. Really jr. is a Trevor Ariza type in the making.... plus maybe bringing in jr can reverse the curse. When we traded #33 to Seattle, we messed up big time. Thats when it all went down hill.. taking on contracts like Luc Longley and Glen Rice. Bad business, that was the start of our salary cap woes. Besides that PE 33 shoulda never worn any other uniform outside of a NYK one.

Maybe if we treat his son better, the bad karma can disappear. hahaha

Funny thing about Smush is that in the video game NBA 2K8 he's actually pretty nasty. He was tall for the 1, could dunk, put up the 3, had great handle and hands. Made you wonder if someone over at 2K Sports was related to him or something.

I had him as the starting PG for my Knicks, with Barbosa at the 2, Gerald Wallace, Eddie Griffin (RIP) and Chris Kaman, with Kapono and Aaron Brooks on the bench. They were a nice, young squad.

Smush Parker is a diva....he thinks he's a superstar already and people are holding him back.

Now after saying this? He's a dynamite player. When he played for Detroit I though he was gonna emerge as a scorer cuz that's what he is....basically a poor mans Cuttino Mobley.

So he's a medical exception at 25 cents on the dollar?

I guess you never know with Smush.

Donnie is looking for a combo guard and Smush just might be a guy that would play well for Mike D.

I'm holding out hope for someone a bit higher on the totem pole but I guy who has natural talent like Smush could be an option.

The team is on Cloud 9 without Marbury. Adding Steph-lite would be worthless. Down to the aloof disposition and entitlement complex, Smush is exactly who Steph would be if Colangelo didn't sign him to AI money.

Smush has all the talent and skill in the world, has proven to be an NBA level talent, has played in various systems for various coaches and is not in the League because he is a bigger problem than he's worth. Unless he's going to be your starting point guard, there's really no point to signing him.

Plus I'm sure Donnie would make a phone call to Dunleavy or Karl before signing him and that'd pretty much be the end of that. Even his boy Odom wouldn't vouch for him in LA anymore. If you're looking for a backup point guard to spell Du for a few minutes, Barrett or some other hungry, humble cat who would kill for the opportunity is a much better option.
