Who are you talking to? You made this stupid topic, not me. This topic isn't about Al Harrington. It is about Jeffries.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

GKFv2 - what da hell are doing posting in such a stoopid thread?

You should be posting in a thread where people have high BB IQ's

definately not here.

Did I mention that Al Harrington is good?

Thanks for taking that completely out of context. Knicks couldn't buy a bucket in the third. We kept driving the lane and posting up and didn't score for six minutes, got a bucket, and then didn't score for another five minutes (or something like that). Our 30 point lead was down to 12 and Harrington starts sitting back wide open and hit three 3 pointers and a deuce on four possesions. It was an 11-2 run for the Knicks and we closed out the quarter with a 22 point lead. They had five guys standing in front of the basket and we kept forcing every posetion. Harrington was the only guy to recognize this. Didn't you watch the game?

In any case, what's your point?

Jared Jefferies presence is being felt....he's an extra handler and he's actually been finishing and passing well....nice glue player like advertised....Go Knicks!!!

Check the jumpshot people!!! Allan Houston got him looking nice and clean! He hit another tonight and his form was beautiful!

Yeah, he just has to keep practicing and using it in games to completely improve it.

Jeffries isn't a bad role player to have. His real problem is his contract, and we have Isiah to thank for that.

I got you BB IQ right here.

rookie - I can't understand why a band of brothers can score 43 points in a quarter, demonstrating an exceptional grasp of ball movement and unselfishness, and you you resort to the sterotypical nonsense of questioning their collective/individual "BB IQ" when their huge lead shrinks to just 12 points?

My point?

Jared Jeffries is unselfish, unheralded and works hard. He is not pretty. Jeffries role reminds me of the thankless role of the less-gifted yet beloved Chris Dudley. Teams need role players.

You don't need to be a genius to appreciate that.

I could have scored 43 points in the first half. LAC played no defense and had no energy. This is pointless

Can you please let me know when your next game is shown on ymcaleague.tv?

nothing is pointless unless you peceive it as so. The point being Jeffies has a made valuable contribution in the D'Antoni system. Jared Jeffries presence made a difference, starting with his first game back in Atlanta.

Here is a question. What the heck happened to the offensive talent from IU? Where is that Jared Jeffries? Has anyone seen him since draft night?

JayNYC - tremendous question. One of my colleagues goes as far back as Jeffries days in high school competing againg Zach Randolph. He wonders the same thing.

I'm still searching for the otherworldly hops David Lee exhibited when he won the high school slam dunk contest.

It's not about one game, one win. If we are going to win against tough teams, we are going to have to read and react better.BTW - since you like to post quotes from other threads, maybe you can post something where I've said anything negative about Jeffries contributions so far.

In a big lineup like this with all players able to handle the ball, you want your PF or C bringing up the ball because their defender most likely won't be able to harass them from baseline to baseline. This is good coaching. JJSkinny did not actually run the offense but they had a motion offense where everyone touched the ball and we even saw the weave.

Haha, Jeffries is Chris Dudley!!!! That is an awesome comparison. Too much man. I remember cringing and laughing every time Dudley touched the ball.

More seriously though, Dudley was a beast of an offensive responder and Jeffries I think has much more skill (yeah I said it lol)
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
