I'm Shocked that there is so little faith in MDA at this point. MDA has Duhon playing like Nash lite and the team overall playing at a decent level early in the season, before the trades. He actually does have a positive effect on the players he coaches, that buy into what he's teaching.

I see that Alan Houston has been doing with Jared. He seems to have really made some nice changes to his shot. I didn't see that funky arm motion he used to have. In time I think it's going to make a really nice improvement. Who knows how Jared will look in MDA's system. I have to believe that if he was very pleased in Camp that Jared must have shown some good things, cuz MDA knows what he's looking at.

Jeffries may not be great-- but he will MOST CERTAINLY be better than that clown Malik Rose.

And Jeffries actually introduces a skill set we don't currently have...a 6'11" potential shot blocker. Don't be so quick to judge. Let him play first.

Agreed. That's how you gotta look at it. Just judging by the first half against Atlanta (specifically the end of the first half) he'll be a factor the rest of the way. At 6'11" with his length, he's far better on both sides of the ball playing down low than running around on the perimeter trying to play the 3. He belongs down low playing the 4 or the 5. Did a nice job on Horford to close out the half...

we should be looking to bring in another banger down low that can be a defensive presence in the paint right now if we can get our hands on one... someone like an Etan Thomas could fill Jefferies' role much more effectively.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Its ok to have Jeffries as a backup C if he brings what he has so far, and we know he can do that consistently as we don't need offense from him other than the offensive rebounds he can get. Now, as you say, we need another C on this team to bring balance.
