I'd go with Fred Jones now, because we need a guard and sign Ewing when JJ1 finally leaves.

Posted by Ira:Ira, ole buddy, we are in agreement! Sign PE Jr when eith JJ1 or Marbury leaves. The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.

PE Jr definitely comes back, but the first player this team needs to look for is a SG.

Posted by Knicksfan: Malik Hairston was a big time HS prospect. Didn't improve his game much in college (think Felipe) but still a talented prospect for the Knicks to look at. I would also add Marcus Williams to that list (From Arizona). He's 6'7 and can pplay both guard positions. |

Since Marbury is about to be waived, the question now becomes what 2 players would you take? Gimme Fred Jones and PEJ

Posted by Cookdcokehop: Mobley hasn't retired yet but if he does, I would take the best d-league guard out there and then find some tall dude who can help like a Justin Williams or Juwan Howard. Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Posted by Knicksfansince94: Oh and a quote from your article f you define “athlete” as simply the ability to sprint in a straight line, and the ability to jump high enough off the floor and slam the ball into the hoop like a primate and hang off the rim like a primate, and generally to engage in bombastic, ostentatious, “in your face” unsportsmanlike showmanship, and only shoot 50% from the free throw line and 30% from the field, then yes, white basketball players aren’t athletes.
