it's not easy building a team in the nba that can be competetive. i think colangelo has done a great job in toronto. the firing of smitch was the right move. what happens next remains to be seen but smitch got a 4 year guaranteed deal while coaching 2.5 more years after he was voted "worst coach in the league". colangelo did not do him wrong.
