Gus and Bruce Beck should have gotten a raise for being able to do those interviews without reaching over and punching the **** out of him...although Gus looked damn close. lol

I think Marbury wins in either of those situations lol Not a good idea for Bruce

i doubt Marbury woulda known what hit him... he'd probably think the Valium was finally starting to kick in.

It's just a camera, and they go cut, and they go edit. That's it.

Question is, when they were in that foxhole why was Marbury facing the other way? He might not have a gun but he should at least be looking out for his teammates.

Marbury also has this over him: of the 130 mil he's made in his career, more than half came from the Knicks. If 68 mil doesn't buy loyalty from Steph nothing ever will. More than half his money in a 12-13 year NBA career. The guy was with the Knicks for 4 years and he made a ton of cash. In that time he never made the All-Star game, never won a playoff game, never made the All-NBA teams.

This guy has only made 2 all-star games in his whole career made maybe 3-4 playoffs appearances and never won a playoff series.

This guy came here on the downside of his career and made the most money, caused the most embarassment a knick fan has ever endured, and now is admitting he wasn't even facing the same direction as his teammates. Mother****er you get paid to play even if you're on the bench you better be facing the same direction as your teammatges.

Get the **** outta here.

Kam, I agree with every word that you said here. However, after watching those vids yet AGAIN,
I just have one refinement to add. Something that I forget, and maybe lots of people forget,
in the time that passes between these vids during which we just read his quotes and not actually
see him speaking them. And for me that thing is this: the man is not all there. How do you say...?
Soft in the head. Slow. Crazy. Take your pick. You can't reason with him. His mental capacity is just
not there. I'm not saying that he deserves pity for this, he's done fantastically in spite of that
handicap. But I guess my point is we have to stop expecting behave any differently, to act like an adult, to be intelligent. He can't. Seriously, just watch the videos. He crazy.

In someways, I do pity the Marbury the person. He must be a mixed up miserable, paranoid person.
But I won't be sad to see him gone, and let our team get back to the business of winning games.

I wish I had paid more attention to it when it was on. but I didn't realize how crazy he was. That show would be an instant hit if they put it back on. I guess calling a show "stars on stars" should have been my tipoff. Oprah should name her show "super rich lady talking to other super rich people".

This should just be renamed "The Best of Stephon Marbury Thread".
Knicks guard Stephon Marbury testified Wednesday in the case of a fired team executive who has accused coach Isiah Thomas of sexual harassment, calling the lawsuit absurd while downplaying an encounter with a drunken intern.
After hearing about the lawsuit brought by Anucha Browne Sanders, "I laughed," Marbury said in U.S. District Court. "It was more of a joke than anything."

When he took the stand, Marbury admitted pulling up and asking the intern, "Are you going to get in the truck?" He said she answered, "Yes."

U.S. District Judge Gerard E. Lynch cut off any more questioning on the encounter, saying more details wouldn’t help the jury decide the case.

After Marbury finished testifying, he rode down 23 floors in a crowded elevator, saying to no one in particular: "Money makes you do crazy things, man."

Then he left the courthouse, smiling and singing a song out loud. When pressed to divulge more about his relationship with the intern, he instead commented cheerfully on a reporter’s shoes.

All the singing and crizzap that people do in these situations is normally a defense mechanism. Most people do feel bad but they are trying to cover up their feelings by acting like it's no big deal
