Why do you make posts without sources? Can't you at least provide where you get your info from instead of people have to search where the hell you found your info?

Ive been posting here for a long time--I don't make sht up.

Posting here for a long time doesn't make you a good poster, also posting 10K times doesn't make you a good poster, what makes a good poster is to backup your posts with facts or links, not to leave things up in the air for other to figure out. Back your posts up or don't post at all, or is this how you pad your post count?.

1 Alba Post doesn't make you a good poster either.

even if mobley never plays a game, it was still a trade that had to happen.

MSG has said nothing about this. Actually they made sure viewers understood that Mobley was going to play at some point but not tonight. Players are also talking about him gelling with the team so, so far nothing to say he won't be able to play for the Knicks.

Is Walsh pushing for a medical exemption? He was playing in LA so right now I don't see that happening.

Yeah it was, but IMO, Walsh has an even harder job to do now. He just proved he does have a plan and its rebuilding in a rush. That is amazing, but now he has to find a way to improve the team with real cheap talent. Its really hard to see a star free agent signing in NY just because its NY. Im sorry but thats just wishful thinking from our part. We will have no Lebron is we don't have a solid team for 2010. Forget market, forget MSG, forget NY. Lebron will only sign if we have a team ready for the next level and real pieces. So far we lack a lot, so now that Walsh has let everyone know his plan is for real, pressure is on him to make intelligent trades to turn some of this contracts in real talent.

Interesting that this has not been mentioned in any blogs or on any other site. Who did the interview with Walsh?

Here praying Walsh can do so. But those contracts need to be turned in young players with talent, at least one. Their contracts aren't big, so it won't disturb the 2010 plan, but at the same time play will be relevant because we will be developing players. You get a center out of that trade and Walsh is indeed president of the year.

I think it is important not to get off topic. Has anyone seen anything regarding this reported interview or Mobley's condition preventing him from playing? I am looking forward to him being a Knick and I hope he is able to play.

Is it irrelevant if someone posts a quote that doesn't exist? Briggs is a respected poster and deserves the benefit of the doubt but there is no evidence that this was said. I think that is relevant. I also think Mobley is going to be a player for this team. He is solid and plays good perimeter defense. He is different than Crawford but he will contribute and fill the role as the starting two if healthy.

Briggs didn't post a quote so yes this topic is pretty worthless, Crush.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

The closest thing I can find to what Briggs is talking about.

Team officials have given no indication that Cuttino Mobley’s career is in jeopardy, but they cannot say when, or if, he will be cleared to play. “I don’t know yet,” said Donnie Walsh, the team president, declining to say whether Mobley had failed his physical examination. “I’m saying right now that he’s undergoing further tests and we’ll make a determination when we get more information.” The team will not confirm widespread reports that Mobley is being tested for heart issues, although multiple people have confirmed that is the case. The Knicks chose Tuesday to waive the physical examination requirements, thus allowing their trade with the Los Angeles Clippers to become final. Clippers officials were frustrated by the delays, which forced them to play Monday’s game without Zach Randolph. “All I know is if he has had anything, he has been asymptomatic," Coach Mike Dunleavy told Los Angeles reporters. “He’s never had any issue with us.” Walsh declined to say whether the Knicks would be entitled to compensation if Mobley could not play. “I did the trade, we’re happy with the trade, it’s a good trade for us,” he said.

NEW YORK (AP)—The trade that sent Zach Randolph from New York to the Los Angeles Clippers was completed Tuesday, though Cuttino Mobley still wasn’t available to play for the Knicks.

The deal was made Friday but was hung up when the Knicks reportedly learned of a heart condition during Mobley’s physical. Randolph was prevented from playing Monday night for the Clippers because of the delay.

New York waived the physical requirement so the deal could be finalized.

Knicks president Donnie Walsh wouldn’t reveal the nature of Mobley’s medical condition, but said Mobley wouldn’t be available for Tuesday’s game against Cleveland or Wednesday night in Detroit while he underwent additional testing.

Tim Thomas, acquired along with Mobley, was in uniform for New York on Tuesday night against Cleveland.

Walsh added he didn’t know if Mobley would ever play for the Knicks.
