Dude did you watch the game last night? That was the crucial shot in the game. That was about 3 mins to go and Wash had been making its run. That gave us a 4 pt lead and allowed us to pull away.

no i didn't, my cable's disconnected.

IMO that was the key momentum changing play and a grand example of Nate picking up the "create a shot late in the game" slack.

Yes TMS, jamal was a big portion of the offense. But it's only when he showed up. Same thing with Q. Big night last night, but may not even exist come Tuesday.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Here's the thing - folks have just gotten used to the Knicks failing, in fact, they expect it. That's over.

i agree, Nate hit a big shot there & thanks for showing me the clip... but he's a completely different type of player than Jamal... i would relate Nate a lot closer to Marbury than Jamal... that stop & go off the dribble move w/a runner in the lane is classic Marbury right there... watch this clip of Jamal to see what i'm talking about when i say stop & pop... yeah he was hot shooting that night spotting up from 3 & i know Nate's shown he can get hot that way too, but when i see Nate i see a guy who's game is completely predicated off either his spot up jumper going down or working off his quickness penetrating into the lane.

i'm not shedding any tears over him leaving, don't get it twisted... i just don't think we have anyone who can do the things he could on this team... Nate can get off a shot off the dribble but he's going to be limited by his lack of length on many occasions, trust me... Q Rich doesn't even factor into this discussion, he's never been our go to guy on offense, if he gets hot that's just a bonus... Nate's never been looked upon as our go to guy either... i hope he can fill the hole Jamal just left behind.

....and I guess we'll h\miss Crawford's defense late in the fourth quarter too. While he may have had a 40% chance of hitting the shot, there was also a 100% chance he was never going to put a stop on his man at the other end of the court. Also, if he had a man in his face, his percentage goes down....and...his man will be in his face because they know he won't take it to the rim. Goodbye, good ridance. Someone else will step up...AND...'D' up and get some stops on the other end. I like our chances of closing out games better now without him and the other no 'D' ball hog. They were the two star players in a losing culture. Marbury, Crawford, Randolf are all yesterdays news

Wow. Anybody who misses Jamal's "scoring" and his 40% shooting percentage, and awful defense. His amazing ability to showboat and have bad turnovers late, his horrible shot selections. And who can possibly miss his amazing ability to be ALWAYS BE ON LOSING TEAMS.

There were 4 born losers on this team when the year began. Two are gone. Cuttino is a BETTER player than Crawford. Anyday. Scoring a lot of points does NOT make you a good player. Plain and simple.

Dude's old... used to be good. He'll probably be like Eddie Jones a few years ago, when he was well past his prime, wasn't good, just serviceable. What was the Clips record with him? Even with those numbers, Mobley's efficiency numbers are C R A P. Jamal was average. This guy is well below average. Obviously the team will be better with him than without him, but he's not going to be good, great, grand, or wonderful.

Old? I can't even believe he is still playing!

Up until last year, I was saying that if Nate was at least 6' tall, then he'd be a legit star. I criticized his little arms not being able to finish a drive to the basket and accused him of the many games we lost because of it. Half joking, half serious. But now? Now I'm convinced that he is a lot better then I gave him credit for. Nate may not be the go to guy ever, but he certainly is a great addition to anyones offense, tiny munchkin or not.
I'll never trust this' team again.

believe me i have grown to have that same appreciation for Nate's skills... EnySpree was the guy who was saying he had the talent to be much better than he was from the very beginning & i never really believed him til last season... i'm not trying to badmouth any of our players here, just making observations on the type of games they play & why i think some of Jamal's skills will be missed BY THIS TEAM in certain situations... now all you Jamal haters can jump down my throat all u want for saying i'm crazy for missing this loser bastard if it makes u feel better, but that's not really what i said, so like i mentioned, it might be helpful to actually read the posts before responding to them.
