Crawford "the clown" was called sometimes, hehe.

Well, I dont have bad words to say about him, but sadly he was what most of you guys said he was before we traded for him: bad FG, bad decision, bad defense, though good attitude, athletism and skills. He just could not improve during his time with us, but its true he was among the best players of the team, he never complained and always tried his best. I hope he does well in GS. Good luck Jamal!

Jamal seems like a good guy. Whatever his failings on the court, they seem to end there. I never saw him as a distraction or negative influence behind the scenes, which is a lot more than I can say for many of our guys.

But on the court he was manic/depressive.

Jamal was in a difficult position here (but who wasn't?). He's best suited to a place where defense, leadership and consistency aren't required. GS is probably as good as it gets.

yeah, i admit that i am sort of sad he is gone. we saw him grow in front of our eyes as a player and he has gotten better and better. he was the one knick i had the least problem with. i hope he will find success in gs and finally experience the playoffs but playing in the west, i doubt it.

Sayonara chucker. Good guy but incredibly irritating player.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I always liked Jamal. Always thought he had the potential to be an all-star. His biggest attribute wasn't his x-over, it was his cajones. Man, he never bowed out in the final seconds.

I'll miss him, but am excited that we're entering a new era of youth, direction and fiscal responsibility.

onwards!

I've always mantained that Jamal can be a piece to a really good team but only in a 6th man or 4th option player, similar to a Jason Terry in Dallas. Jamal was asked to be our 1st option too often like Terry in Atlanta, failed miserably. We saw all of Jamals warts because he was being asked to do something he isn't capapble of.

Nellie Ball will fit Craws game to a Tee, but unfortunately will allow him to fire away without the discipline his game desperately needs.

It's been real, Jamal. Thanks for the good games, the great attitude, all the team spirit and all the threes and dunks. You gave us Knicks fans some reasons to smile when times were tough.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Good luck to Jamal. I enjoyed having him on the team, but it's time to let go.

Nice guys finish last. Crawford has never been to the playoffs.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I will miss his insipid company man blog in the Post though. Any chance he continues doing it?

I'm hoping he does one more post about what it was like getting traded. And about how wished he could be part of the turnaround (but not actually do anything to make the turnaround possible).

Thanks but cut me some slack. I barely remember who Crawford is. I'm just assuming he was someone I didn't like. Safe bet.
