The bulls seem as soft down low as we do, I thought guys like noah, and tyrus wer supposed to be lane enforcers for them..

Man, I love you TKF but you're wrong about Oden. He's a natural and once he gains some actual skill which comes from experience...whew!

But I couldnt agree more about the Bulls. Their roster is a mess; frontcourt is laughable. They have a team full of energy and role players. I dont think any other team in the league needs a big trade more than they do. Nocioni, Noah, Thomas, Gooden...ext just not cutting.

They need to give Rose some ballers.

maybe I am wrong about oden, but from what I have seen so far, he is almost as raw as guys like Javele Mcgee. Oden is just stronger, but just as raw... I just don't envision as an offensive force. not any time in the near future that is..

And the bulls are a mess... all of those lottery picks on that front line, and they look horrible... tyrus thomas for Aldridge is looking horrible. Imaging LA on the bulls. and honestly I love to see the bulls get smacked in a trade, they acted like they were onto something with their smugness and skiles being a jackass. now skiles is gone and that team seems to have no direction..

Derek rose is the truth so far.. that kid can ball..

Wasn't Oden viewed as a defensive and rebounding force and was compared to Bill Russel and the Georgetown Big Fella? I think everyone was envisioning that he will transform into something like Patrick in that his offensive skills will flourish in the NBA. I don't see it. He does not have the outside shot that Ewing had even in college. He is more of a BIGGER Bill Russell which is not bad. Not bad at all.

Heck i think with his body control, athleticism, strength and height he doesnt need much of a footwork to be an offensive force. Establish himself in the post, get within two feet of the basket and instant two handed dunk :D.

what I do notice is his horrible footwork. He can't go up without doing that little curly shuffle dance he does to gather himself for a hard dunk that looks like a rattled home jumper....

with that said.. the knick sure could use his height and defense in the middle..

When youre 57 years old sometimes the feet just won't do what the brain asks them to do!

*yes, Oden age jokes are never going to get old!*

I have yet to see him up close for a full game but the few plays I've seen highlighted he looks pretty good. Questions are health - and - growth as a player.

At 57 years old, I don't think he has much growth left.

That team Portland assembled is just sick. From 1 through 12, every last player is a quality player. Bayless can only get 7 minutes of run!!! These guys could package Bayless, Frye, and change for a real good PG or SF and make their team an elite level squad, if it is not there already. How they were able to get so much talent in only 3 years is amazing.

Yeah, unbelievably deep & talented team. Completely wiped the floor with the Bulls last night winning by 42!! I even forgot to mention they still have Martell Webster who's recovering from the foot fracture and should be back by Christmas. Yet another shooter to keep things open for Oden and Aldridge.

Like the Lakers, here's one of the other rare teams that should be able to sustain an injury here and there and still stay afloat. They really matchup quite favorably against the Lakers when you think about it - Oden-Pryzbilla/Bynum, Aldridge-Frye/Gasol-Rodmanovic, Outlaw-Webster-Batum/Odom-Ariza, Roy-Fernandez/Kobe-Vujacic, Blake-Rodriguez/Fisher-Farmar. Kobe's Kobe and he's gonna get his but Roy's very good himself. Very favorable matchups for the Blazers at every position. That's one hell of a series if they wind up matching up this spring. I like the Blazers chances in that series. A LOT...
