Secondly, where did anyone question QTip's past or present work? All that was said is that his re-make of the Knicks Go-NY-Go-NY-Go theme song is absolute trash.

And lastly, what is this "corporate types and families to not feel uncomfortable by and and intimidated from" supposed to even mean? You're talking about a basketball game that is a public venue of which is televised to a public audience during the early evening hours on basic cable. I highly doubt vulgar lyrics representing violence and thug life would be accepted on any level in such a forum so I highly doubt QTip dumbed down anything here to appease the "corporate types and families".

He is old as hell, but its not as if the Garden crowd are super underground, real-recognize-real, hip hop cats like you. Its a poppy little thing to get the crowd to chant "go NY."

Tip's new album is official tho, I wish you would at least concede that. If you haven't heard it, get on your job.

havnt heard the album and really not interested.... u should post the best song from it here.

The qtip knicks song is cute for little kids, but it isnt getting the garden excited like the old GO NY GO NY GO songs from the 90s... the rapper on that was sub-par at best but u know what the production was good and it was a ANTHEM... the energy was right.. Qtip was always a very laid back MC you can't argue that, hes a chill dude very relaxed and calm rapper... haering him in the intro "MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!!! GET UP OUT YA SEAT!!!" it almost sounds like steve urkle or some **** lol its so forced and out of charictor... Hes not a rowdy hype MC hes a smooth laid back rapper. Not the right choice for the job
