LOL. To make matters worse was that Isiah came out the next day and said he had Frye and Bynum at the top of his list which of course freak Briggs out. Classic.

I believe Isiah probably would have taken Bynum- but he didn't want to wait 1-3 years- he was trying to win now.

Yeah, you have to give IT credit. He at least left the team with some talent. Nate is blossoming. Chandler should be a solid starter by next year if he keeps developing. Lee and Crawford are playing solid BB. Man, even Randolph looks like a solid pick up. If he could have stayed away from Curry and giving up those 2 picks, this team actually would be loaded with talent. We just needed a better coach to get the most out of this talent.
About Frye, I would actually like him back. I think he would be good in this offense. Too bad Portland has no interest in Curry.

Bynum, Granger or Monta Ellis were the guys we shoulda drafted over Frye looking back... that draft wasn't particularly deep as it turns out... of course, hindsight is 20/20 & there were still plenty of people around here who were pining for guys like Ike Diogu, Sean May & Gerald Green (my brilliant choice) on the day of the draft & 39 other guys were picked over Monta Ellis, so u can't lay too much blame at Isiah's feet for that one.
I wanted Monta over Nate that year.....Knee concerns were scaring people away.
