No it's not...

What is the point of trading Lee for Bellinelli? Harrington sucks. If you are acquiring him, it's for his contract. Considering Rose is expiring, that trade wouldn't make much sense for us at all.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

bellinelli in this offense would be absolutely devastating. kid can SCORE no doubt about it man o man.

briggs, lee? wtf?

curry better be in this deal, if we can get rid of curry AND get belineli my goodness i love where this things headed

I would like to keep Lee. If GS sends us a package of Harrington and Bellinelli--they want something good back.

I don't like moving Lee with Malik but would if it meant Curry was a goner.

I actually think that Mike D thinks he can get Lee type of production from Jefferies and would prefer to add Harrington's outside scoring (plus he's on a shorter deal).

Lee and Curry for Harrington and Bellinelli is acceptable to me -- but I would really prefer Brandon Wright who has other world type athleticism.

I agree. Bellineli is completely in Nelli's doghouse (say that 'ish 10 times fast). Cant get off the bench. So its definitely a buy low situation. They need to take one of our contracts. *Looks in Curry's direction.*

Lee/Curry for Bellinelli/Harrington. Main cogs in deal.

Nah man.....Harrington would have to be the starter @ the 3 for now. D'antoni doesn't even think Lee is a starter anymore! so the knicks would have Wilson @ the 4 and Harrington as the 3.

Good point about Jared coming in and doing what Lee is currently doing. Its only 10 and 7......Jared could come in and do 6 and 5 easy off the bench maybe more since D'antoni is basically playing everyone in the rotation 30 mins.

Anyway, stat guys like to use stats to prove their points, yet ignore Harrington has been a very good 3pt shooter in his career especially the last few years and at a decent clip.

For the Knicks? This trade is gold. They probably make the playoffs off this trade.

A lot of people seem to think Brandon Wright is the man and has been in Nellies dog house since he's been drafted up until the other day. Soooooooo don't lie to yourself.......

Lets read it this way.....Harrington who's a legit 15/6 with decent percentages and skills for a bum on an expiring and a guy currently in the Knicks dog house.

All these players are in the dog house so to speak!......Knicks need a guy to replace Q right now. Golden State needs a big man worthy of starting.

The deal works well for everyone.

The trade we should pursue is Lee & a 2nd rd pick for Camby & Deandre Jordan.

If we are to deal with GS then we should target Brandon Wright. He would be a nice shot blocker to compliment Randolph.

Jordan is now and forever will be a bum. He'll max out at Kwame Brown status in this league. This is exactly the type of player that Waltoni is trying to put in our past, not future (the lazy, unfit, low b-ball IQ, low IQ period player).

Bellinelli looked great in summer league play. I don't think he is getting any burn in GS, but if we are looking to build around shooters, this guy can flat out shoot and is highly skilled. Now if you include him and Harrington, and maybe a second round pick, then I could see considering a Curry and Lee trade, although I would like to get more. Harrington would fit well in our offense and since it looks like DG is 1 or 2 years away from being a solid rotation player, Harrington will allow us to buy time.

yup, that's what i was coming in to post... Darko to newspaper: "99% chance i will be in ny by the end of the week"

i'll take this one with a grain of salt. also, east coast team could imply charlotte, washington, orlando, new jersey... there's several east coast teams.

I dont see how the deal you've constituted brings us anything but potentially making us marginally better; its just a lateral move. Doesn't help us much with 2010.

We give up one of our best assets and an expiring for Harrington, a disgruntled small forward?? The jury is still out on Bellineli and I don't know why you're confusing him with Wright. Wright is big man lottery pick from a powerhouse school. They are not interchangeable in the slightest and their games, nor situation, resemble one another.

Harrington/Curry makes sense because we are essentially exchanging one problem for another. They actually get the better of Lee/Bellinelli because Lee is a known quantity.

Rose is garbage, its all about his contract at this point.

I'm confusing Brandon wright with Bellineli? Where?

Is this annoy the **** out of Eny day?

I know the difference btw the too......first off the guy with the italian name is.......wait for it.........mexican!

Wright hasn't done **** in the nba yet and he is now Jesus Christ superstar cuz he went to UNC? He hasn't played at all until Harrington pissed Nellie off and benched him.

Where is the big hard on for Lee coming from? As we speak, Wilson is the starting power fwd......not David Lee. Yeah bro he can go....Harrington and Bellineli for Lee and Malik is pretty darn fair and it helps Golden State just as much as the Knicks...........Curry for Harrington makes sense from the Knicks standpoint but how does that #1 match Nelson's style of play and #2 where does Curry fit in with Biedris on that team?

Before you call anyone out for being confused make sure you take your meds first.

I think Toronto might be looking for shooting help, so it might be the Raptors that have been making a play for this kid. But I tell ya if the Knicks ever got involved and put Lee on the table...

Lee and Malik for Belinelli and Harrington = fantastic trade.

Lee and Curry for Belinelli and Harrington = even better trade.

I've been all over the Knicks to get Belinelli for a while now, even before D'Antoni. Speaking of MDA, he would love to have a world-class shooter like this at his disposal. In addition to the awesome stroke, he handles the ball very well and can play up tempo, has more than decent size for the 2 at 6'5" (MDA could probably get away with playing him at the 3 at times when he wants to go small), and is very athletic (I've seen tape of him running the court well and going strong to the rim, finishing with dunks). When Belinelli's gotten a good run in the summer league 2 years in a row now he's really excelled. He reminds me of a cross between Mike Miller (the pure stroke, the handle for a 2) and Manu Ginobili (probably won't ever be as good but the overall aggressiveness and the athleticism is very similar). This kid's gonna be good - all he needs is for someone to give him a chance.

A tremendous 22-year-old outside shooter and a very serviceable hybrid forward that's in his prime with a reasonable contract that expires soon for backup PF David Lee (who we're gonna have to dramatically overpay to keep) and garbage? Man, where do I sign....
