Ok, here is the trade

Camby, Tim Thomas & 1st round pick

for

Lee, JJ2 & Rose

Can we keep JJ2 and substitute Crawford?

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Do you really want to torment yourself with asking why JJ2 is getting Marburys minutes??? LOL

Sacramento has alot of big men (Hawes, Thompson, Miller). I am not sure if they are looking to make moves but I think any of these guys would help the Knicks.

Any franchise center available for next draft?

YEAH! We already missed two chances! Bynum and Lopez!

I see Thabeet is considered a lottery pick. Hope we are in position to get him...

Lee is a good player but that about it. I have him giving up on his jumper about 5 games into the season.

What annoys me about Lee is that it looks like he hasn't put in the work at the gym to improve his strength. He is 6'10" and his game doesn't rely on being super quick. He needs to put on some muscle so he doesn't get abused down low all the time.

And it isn't like having extra muscle will ruin his jump-shot. And speaking of his shot, I get the feeling he will develop a reliable one someday, but that will be after his above average athleticism is no longer above average. I've seen it before, a player doesn't shore up his weaknesses until his strength start eroding.

Come on Lee, You're better than that!

I think Lee put on weight last year but I think he lost his bulk to try to play well in D'Antoni system. He is not physically strong like most PF. Amare is a good example, he was bulker and stronger before D'Antoni got hold of him. Running in D'Antoni system was very hard on his body as evident with his injury. He said he had to lean down to be able to keep himself healthy to play like that.

I don't want weight or bulk on Lee. I want strength. And I think last year's bulk was due to his knee injury the previous season because he played himself into shape in the beginning of the season.

I don't think Amare is a really good comparison to Lee. Stoudemire was one of the strongest power forwards since he stepped into the NBA. I understand you are referring to size., but still, we are talking about waaaay different physical specimens.

With Sixers we saw Zack, Jamal, and Q being what they are - players who making teams bad. They are wasting time and space with negative result and sometimes great stats which is irrelevant to winning.

how come you always leave out Lee? Q and Zach have been part of decent teams in their careers. Lee never has. Lee played much worse than Zack last night.

Why do you always leave out Lee arkrud?

The Knicks have a coach that doesn't emphasize defense. So fans need to get it out of their heads that this team will ever be anything more than mediocre/bad on that end of the floor. D'Antoni says himself that he doesn't want centers. There's no 1-5 in his system. He wants guards and forwards.

That said, D'Antoni's going to have to adjust his coaching style to compensate for the lack of shooters. Not saying they should all of a sudden think they're a half court team, but Nash, Barbosa, Bell and to an extent Diaw/Amare could all knock down shots at a reliable clip. The Knicks are a team of slashers and volume shooters. There is no one out there that spreads the floor. Therefore, the Knicks get killed in transition in ways that Phoenix didn't.

The Knicks also are one of the softest teams in the league. For all of Lee and Randolph's supposed toughness, when's the last time either of them finished a game with 5 fouls? Even when Curry accumulated fouls (when he played) the majority were on the offensive end. Put a body on someone. Oak wasn't 6'11 and neither was Mase, but guys were shook coming down that lane.

The Knicks have been small since Ewing left town. They tried to force skinny little Camby and Kurt Thomas in the middle.

And the biggest centers we can say anything of was Dudley, Longley, Curry, Mutombo and Jerome. All big slow stupid, injury prone thugs. And when we get a shot at two guys like Bynum and Lopez, they pass them up. When they did' try to draft one, they drafter Frederic and he split town soon after.

It's truely no wonder that the center spot has been such a horrible mess since Ewing left.

And here's the kicker: 'It was so simple to solve', but instead they wanted to sign Houston a 100 million dollar contract and then took on dumb contracts like Larry Johnson. When they did the math, didn't they equate NBA rules into the formula? They must not of. There must be something in Knick brass that not even the NBA knows about. Some kind of twisted pact that was set into motion just recently??

Wouldn't it be a biatch if we found out that dolan was taking advice from..........'a fortune teller'??
I'll never trust this' team again.

They have to command the offensive plan first and once they get it down, they have to focus more on defense. One thing at a time. You don't want TMI going through these guys right off the bat. And I thought some people here agreed that it was going to take a little time to get it down to a science and that we were going to wait for them to get better. I remember that was some understanding here on another couple threads, about three weeks ago.

He was in Phoenix for how long? And when did they start focusing "more" on defense? What part of Mike doesn't give a **** about defense is up for debate?

This is the same man who has no respect for Patrick Ewing Sr. Don't argue with him.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Hey' Phoenix did win a lot games under Mike. And we know that he was always missing something to get them over the hump. If this guy can get this team or another one to do about the same in the next couple of years, if he can get us to that stage, then I'd be more than happy to have him as my coach. If we can get to the point of what Phoenix has done, then we can get the piece we need to get us over the top.

But we ain't at that point yet.

You'd take Phoenix record anytime, any day of the year and you know it. Man, I wish it was already 15 or 20 games into the season to prove my point. Just wait, just wait!
I'll never trust this' team again.

After watching Lee and Brand yesterday, how much better is Brand? 200%? Do you still think Lee is worth Brand money (5 years 80 million) or perhaps a little less than half that?
