Chandler Lee and Nate are heavily involved in the gameplan. Even Mardy seems to have a role. Steph isn't in any of there way.

I'm trusting Walsh and D'Antoni to run this team like its a business vs Isiah's boys club approach.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

SI hasn't really taken D'Antoni's system into account here.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I tried pulling up nba predictions and then predictions for the Knicks, but they ain't even on the radar. The Knicks have got to prove themselves, no doubt.
I'll never trust this' team again.

i'd rather see Duhon, Nate & Mardy getting all of Steph's minutes, i don't care how much better Steph is as a player... Jamal's got a longterm contract & will be here beyond this season barring any trades, so it's worth our time to evaluate whether or not he can thrive in this system... Marbury's future here is nonexistent, why bother?

You seem to be taking this personal. We have a list of losers on this team ( to date) and Steph seems to be the biggest reason....Yeah I think you taking it personal, cause you seem like you know what your talking about for the most part, but these comment dont add up.

i think it's pretty obvious that personally speaking i hate seeing Marbs in a Knicks uniform... but this really doesn't all stem from my personal feelings, i simply don't see any point in playing him minutes this season... what possible upside is there? so Marbury can prove that he can still play... & then what? we re-sign him? we trade him for a longer term contract of another overpaid player we don't really need?

or we win some games and let his contract expire! or we trade him for a future 1st and a prospect!

IMO with his contract expiring, how he performs under MDA will set his trade deadline value not the Thomas years...

Yeah, i think thats key, not just for steph but for all the knicks. We know what craw can do without a coach, but if he can't contribute this year his value will not just drop- it will plummet, since this year we have a real coach and players are given a chance to buy into his system. Same for Curry. The good thing is that if the players buy in and do what the coach wants, not only will we win, but more importantly their trade values will go up no matter what the story was during the previous years. If a player can adapt i think that really is a strong selling point and if he can't thats one of the worst labels that some1 might have. To adjust to a new coach/system players need determination, bball IQ, work ethic and flexibility in their game. I think those are very important qualities and for some GM's/coaches they mean as much if not more than athleticism, speed, shooting ability, defense etc
Everything you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear- George Adair

I thought you would be more interested in winning games, and if we are doing that then whats the problem. We finally have a coach that doesn't cater to him, and he is finaly acting like a true pro and team mate, yet he is still getting crucified. Yet no one seems to harp on Q, JC, Curry, who have look no different then last season, and worse in some cases.

LOL if u think we're trading Steph for a future 1st & a prospect... for you to buy into that delusion after all these years of him proving to other teams why he'd be a horrible fit for their franchise is mindblowing... & like i said before, winning games & letting his contract expire accomplishes what exactly? u think he's leading us to a championship this year? u seriously think he's gonna be the reason we get to the playoffs? wake up bro... the only possible difference Marbs will make is us getting a lower 1st round pick in the lottery.

u seriously think no one's harping on those guys u just mentioned? i think it's pretty clear what people feel about all of those guys around here... what's that got to do w/why i think Steph should be outta here?

btw, if u noticed i did come around in my thinking w/Zach, another player i can't stand seeing in a Knicks uniform... the difference is he's got a longterm contract & is gonna he here whether i like it or not, so it's worth it to me to at least see what he can do under MDA... not playing him or buying him out is obviously not an option... this is not just me posting w/my emotions here, to me it just doesn't make any sense to invest any more time in the failed Marbury experiment.

If Steph comes off the bench and ends up getting the 6th man award and we go 7 games in a 1st round series (win or lose) they will resign him trust me.
