i'm telling y'all, nate >>>> crawford by a mile...

Nate fits this offense like a glove. Crawford SHOULD, but he can't stop dribbling. If he just let things flow he'd be having similar success. I guess you can't teach old dogs new tricks.

it doesn't matter if crawford fits or not, nate is just a superior shooter...

I'm not saying it does matter.. I'm just saying.. GEEZ. lol.

stfu and get in the truck...

Nate has been one of our best 3pt % shooters his entire time with the team. I knew he'd be able to thrive in this system and now that he's maturing it's all coming together for him. Still even a volume shooter has a chance in this offense, cuz it's about getting better shots. Open shots in this system. Jamal has a bit of the Steve Francis disease and it's a problem to be sure, but he has done well when he's been asked to catch and shoot before, I still believe he can do it, but he needs to keep working at it.

Don't care what Dickbury does. He quit on the team last year which is essentially kicking the fans in the nuts and laughing at them. He's a disgrace.

seriously, it's not like it's any newsflash that the guy can play basketball... we all know he can look good in an uptempo style system, he already showed as much in Phoenix & got their team to the playoffs w/some good talent around him... we need to focus on building team chemistry for the future & he clearly has no future here beyond this season... it's obvious Jim Dolan doesn't wanna buy him out & pay him to play for another team, so all we can hope for is to have Marbs get some sucker GM to take him off our hands w/improved play at the PG to begin the season.

I'll take a guy who can play in any style over a guy who needs an And 1 mix tape blasting to get going. Crawford looks like an expensive bench player at this point.

How about we take none and call it a day?

Eddy Curry has learned a lot from Jerome. 3 fouls in 7 minutes.

LOL. The last foul was tough because it look like Lopez flopped into Curry.

i'll have to disagree w/u on that one... i'll take a pass on a guy who makes a complete mockery of our franchise w/his antics & his ridiculous behavior at every chance he gets, undermines coaches & fights w/teammates, & makes coming to play in NY that much more undesirable for any prospective free agents... to me Marbury is the #1 reason why this franchise has gone to the crapper ever since Isiah took over the reigns... he was given every opportunity to make this work & the ownership pretty much took his side over any coaches he didn't feel were suitable for his style of game over the years, & still he made a mockery of all that trust & the huge investment the organization took into bringing him here... he in my opinion is the quintessential image of the spoiled professional athlete that doesn't deserve any of the millions he's being paid to play this game... anyway, we're never going to agree in this Marbury vs. Jamal argument so really there's no point in harping on it.

i know u don't like Jamal but do we have any G's that can defend on the perimeter other than Q & Mardy (before Duhon got here that is)

Bobby Simmons looking like an all-star 2 guard thanks to Crawford's defense.

Wince's star has faded. Once he gets injured again for 25 games, he will be the same old Vince.

last 3 seasons: 76, 82, 76 games played for vince. vince had 2 injury plagued seasons and that's it. outside of those two years, he puts up HOF #'s.

My problem with Jamal is he is capable of playing better defense. The guy doesn't like contact. Instead of getting up on his man he backs off completely.

have u been watching our perimeter defense over the past few years? it's not like Jamal's the only guy who's letting guys walk into the lane for easy buckets... not that i'm trying to make excuses for him but he is what he is... not sure why people expect him to play better defense... this is why we need a shotblocker in the worst way imaginable.

jamal is not capable of playing better defense b/c we've never seen him play defense at all. he's capable of getting hot and hitting shots when he gets to control the ball. that's all we've seen him do. that's not a bad thing but his role is defined and being a starter is not part of it.
