Yeah, but how has saying "GO KNICKS!" in every interview translated into winning success? I'm proud of a lot of players on this team, like Zach and Marbs (For starting to be good teammates) and Nate and Duhon and even Wilson Chandler. Do they deserve to be captain b/c we are proud of them? No.

Like I said before. Lets put up a fight in the playoffs (Not like the last playoff series vs the Nets, which seems like 5 decades ago) and see who leads the charge. Then we can talk about captains.

this is being way over analyzed... to me a Captain is just a representative of the team & the guy i'd most like to be a leader & example for the other guys to follow... D Lee is probably the hardest working guy on this team & is constantly working on improving his game... every year he comes in w/a new skillset he didn't have before... he's a model teammate & is always looking to encourage the guys he plays with whether he's on the floor or on the bench... he puts up #'s every time he plays, is well spoken, doesn't have any off the court issues, & overall is growing into a very good basketball player... i think those are reasons enough why i think he should be team captain personally.

We will just have to agree to disagree on this one. Like I said, to me, the minimum requirement for the captain to have, is to have winning experience at the NBA level. Preferably on the Knicks, to be the Knick captain.

So your saying any young team without and old vet should have no Captain?

This is easy enough if Malik Rose is still on this team he should be team captain. If Houston makes it he should be one as well. Same with Crawford or Marbury. David Lee/Chandler/Robinson/Duhon have not earned that yet. John Starks was never made team captain. Harper didn't become one until his second year. Oakley didn't get that title until middle of his Knick career. If Duhon earns that respect from his teammates as a Knick then he should be one later on. Duhon was foolish to even advocate for it. An insight into him.

Lee is not the problem. You can't get on Lee for the team not winning.

Isiah is a ****ing disgrace and left lee on the bench and then had him play with a backcourt that doesn't care and plays no defense. He kept quiet, he played ball he worked on his game, continued to hustle when Larry was jerking him out of the lineup when isiah started james, jefferies, rose ahead of him. The guy is one of the most efficient team orientated players in the league that's enough for me to be captain.

Jamal Crawford, Q, Eddy, are not good players, Marbury is not a leader, Nate is out of his mind, Wilson is too young, Rose is like Marlon Anderson, so if you want to give it to Duhon I see no real issue there. Lee deserves it.

How does Lee deserve it? What do you have to back it up other than saying it.
