I highly doubt Jamal did anything close to what Berman described simply because that's not his style. Jamal's not the type of guy to have a problem with a teammate...even one like Marbury. Jamal's been one of Steph's biggest supporters in the locker room and off the court, so most of his frustration is steeped in wanting Steph to get his **** together. Plus Jamal is not going to keep defending one guy at the expense of the team. Still, you don't have to love a guy to play ball with him or to put up with him off the court for the sake of team chemistry.

As for Berman, Isola may be a bitter queen half the time, but he's right about Steph's relationship with Berman. Berman doesn't give a **** about Steph. He wanted access and Steph wanted a mouthpiece. Everyone asks what will happen when Steph leaves the Knicks...Berman will go right back to bashing him just as he did for 2 years before Steph gave him access. Go back to the Lenny/early Larry days...Berman was one of Steph's BIGGEST bashers. That's why it's so transparent and phony. Steph is no better...he got mad at Isola because they used to be close when Frank was on the high school beat (going back almost 20 years now) and when Steph got to NY, he thought Isola should be his buddy in the papers instead of doing his job as a writer. Plus Isola, like most of us realized Steph wasn't the same Steph anymore anyway. So Steph gets on his me against the world crap and Berman went from being a sloppy fat ****, to his best buddy. They're both opportunists, using each other.

I disagree with banning his bitch ass from the site simply because by now you should be able to decipher what's bull**** and what isn't. None of them write 100% truth anyway and all have an agenda.

anyway if Jamal had been the disruption to the team that Marbury's been his whole time here & the shoe was on the other foot instead, i wouldn't have blamed Marbs for wanting Jamal outta here either.

IMO Steph's biggest individual problem was not the things he said in the papers but that he played point with tunnel vision. What compounded it was Isiah backing him (as long as he had the top 3 selling jersey) at every turn.

Lenny figured out if you play Steph off the ball with a distributor (Frank Williams), you get much better guard play outta Steph.

Then Isiah not only trades Frank, but he trades him for Jamal and tasks Lenny with making those 2 work.

FFWD...Walsh brought in Duhon and MDA has given him the reigns and moved Steph to the 2. Problem once again solved.

Jamal is not a headline maker at all since going 10 for his last 40 in a week isn't a read for the casual fan.

But I'm quite sure its just as frustrating as a teammate trying to get Jamal to stop coming down and dribbling himself into an off-balance 22 foot shot especially when the last 4 have bricked and as Q put it to him 1 time on the court "run the damn offense" then it is trying to play through the vision of Stephon screwing an intern in the back of a truck.

Truthfully Steph should've been traded or released along time ago.

Now its at an end...there are no talks of an extension in place and he has been for the present relieved of the decision making by MDA.

Still he is in shape for the 1st time in 4 years and is out there competing thus far. After all the torture, if in his last year he can give something positive back, then **** it I'm rooting for him.

Back to Crawford, he has done nothing but lie to the fans. He lied about putting on muscle to become a better defender or about playing D in general. He lied about improving his shot selection. He has a million reasons why this hasn't worked thus far. Its pathetic. It hasn't worked because he hasn't worked at it...at least thats what the on-court results continue to show.

Now we have a coach whose system is asking him to do offensively the things he claims he has been working on the last 3 years and he looks lost.
