... not that it means anything but, thanks Hardcore. 5 positive posts 995 negative but then again, it's SCOTT LAYDEN and DA KNICKS... we're talkin' about.

haha.. if he doesn't start I won't have to worry about finishing it... anyway is there anything positive you can say about Houston...

Ending contracts don't help us.

Keep Ward until trading dead line. Get a pick or young player in return.

Stop thinking that anyteam will part with a number one.

Trade KT before the feet go. We got a lot of service from him.

Be patient, rebuilding the right way takes time. Dumping contracts is very hard.

watch for posters whom sound like they are having panic attacts and "we have to do somthing now".

We are a very bad team rebuilding. Be grateful our owner accepts it and allows laydog to execute a plan. First time in 15 years!

tkf these are your words

It is funny how guys think that once you are over 30, you are done. For most players those are the prime years, Michael, Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Ewing, Mitch Richmond, malone ,Barkley were all dynamic players in their early to mid 30's. remember Basketball is a man's game!! Houston does not rely on Atleticism and at 32, he is not old. he will be fine for at least 4 good years. The guy can shoot, he has ideal height for a SG and without speed still has the ability to get his shot off....

comparing houston to bird hakeem ewing, lolololol

what a clown you are funny how you put malone in the thread, then on another point malone is old or washed up. oh yeah i am twisting right.

Every one twist your words right??? BS! last time i check you talked English we all know how to read!

and lastly you tried to wiggle out of it saying Gary and karl are not Championship players on L.A. ????/ do they have to be?? whats Shaq and Kobe chopped liver. Turkalou and nestorich are championship players huh?

you are too easy.
you listen to Jimmy, But you cant hear Jimmy

Ice Malone is 40, his days of greatness are done, Payton is 35 he is also slowing down, You are trying to make it seem like Now that LA has payton and Malone they will just steamroll the west!! that is not true, those guys although good players are not the players they used to be, I mean Malone at 40 is not what he was at 35!!! Only you can't see that.. the spurs whipped the Lakers and now you are acting like the Lakers added a 25 year old payton and a 30 year old malone. the spurs filled in Nicely and I still think they are the team to beat.. but again, only you would twist that around..

It is also a feeble attempt to say that I am comparing Houston to Bird and magic and if you can't see that I used them as examples then you are being foolish. Houston is a Allstar calibre player of course he is not on their level but I used other Allstar players as comparisons!! Will you feel better if I used Reggie Miller? Again you are just wasting time..

Again you and only you would take a post about players playing until their mid 30's and still being effective and then twist and use that to say that Malone and Payton are no good.. that is foolish. We all know they can still play but why you brough them up in this post is beyond me... We never said that Houston and Kt at 35 will be depended on helping teams win championships over the spurs!! You will do anything to make yourself feel you are right.... And guess what?

No one supports your BS!! So stop!! please!!

Let me make this easy!!

Payton and malone are good players sill....

The spurs manhandled the lakers last year!!!

The spurs got younger and filled in holes from last year!!

The lakers got older but still 2 good players.....

In conclusion, I still feel those two at this stage in their careers will help the lakers a lot!!

Just not enough to beat this spurs team!! And possibly a healthy Kings team!!!

Now lets see how you twist this one... I already know.... You do it all the time!!!

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Briggs, i feel ya!! They do need to do something for the long term. There's a team option for Kurt Thomas after the season so the knicks might just let him walk if they don't trade him. Booth for Spoon makes sense cause they have similiar contracts but Booth is a 6'11 shotblocker and only 27 as opposed to Spoon whose really a 6'5 undersized PF at 33. KT/Ward for Googs,Jacobson and Phoenix's pick, No way!! We got too many white boys as it is.(Doleac,KVH,Lampe, Vranes and Knight.) we don't need 2 more.
Hands down, the dumbest thing I've ever read, anywhere.

Ending Contracts don't help us? Is this a typo?
Also we don't need to trade KT "before the feet go". His contract will expire soon. (One or two years) Pay attention.

I see Spoon getting traded first, especially if Dyess comes back.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

We have ending contracts on the team. We are so far over the cap that we cannot get under. We are forutnate we have ownership that can abosorb it. If we sold the team as I have read some posters whine, if new owner did not hve the deep pockets, it would be a mess ofr yers.

Pay attention? KT has trade value, if he gets hurt he won't. It took him 3 years to overcome 2 broken feet at his career start. Why not trade him and get a 1st late round pick to a team he can help get over the top. If we are rebuilding, trade the assets that can return value and let the duds expire.

Pay attention, it takes a few years.
