The most succinct description of Barack Obama was uttered by Colin Powell this morning.

In order to describe what My Obama brings to the party, Powell employed the phrase,

"intellectual dignity"

Everyone acts like Obama's campaign has been truthful and honorable. Campaigns rarely are and members of those campaigns sometimes cross the line. But believing everything either of these two say is just plain absurd. We have a huge deficit, owe money, and Obama is going to give everyone health care, tax breaks, make it affordable for everyone to go to college. Both these guys don't have the necessary grasp of what it takes to turn this thing around. It's always interesting to see how much money each candidate has given to charity when they are making all these promised about helping the middle class and being there for the middle class

Now based on what I know the last time we had a "democrat" in the wite house the budget deficit was cut significantly, the current lame duck in the white house more than tripled it. I just find it curious that Obama and Biden are for 95% tax cuts to the middle class, but when it comes to charitable giving they come up very short. Biden in the past 10 years has given less than 4000 to charity, obama stepped up his giving during his campaigning but gave less than 2% of his earnings away the previous 4 years. You can preach your virtues and you can pretend to care, but back it up please.

ACORN is an illusion created to suppress voting, and driven by the same people who fired the lawyers for not being in line with the party. Voter Registration are FORCED BY LAW to turn in EVERY voter registration form they receive. On average Every year SIX, that's right, SIX people get caught committing voter fraud. Yet over 40,000 names get purged. Often for discrepancies with databases where there are small changes such as punctuation and Street being spelled St. Imagine your registration said Main St, but because the database says Main Street, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO VOTE. This attack on ACORN is VOTER SUPPRESSION and even Republican Gov Frist from Florida said this is much ado about nothing. But listening to Fox News or Lou Dobbs you would think ACORN is satan, instead a low income family advocacy group who pays idiots to register as many people as they can, AND ARE FORCED BY UNITED STATES LAW TO TURN ALL THOSE REGISTRATIONS IN.

Tax and spend liberals? Why is it after Reagen, after Bush 1 and after Bush 2 we were left with a recession or depression? Why is our national debt is always larger after Republican rule? Why is our deficit always so much larger after Republican rule? Why is it the only time we had a surplus and were able to pay against the debt was under Clinton?

McCain/Palin appeal to hateful, angry, uneducated, bitter people. Powell is a Republican who is a rarity in his party. Intelligent and fair. Something Republicans now days rarely seem to be.
