i'm not saying i'm a saint & that i've never gotten behind the wheel a little tipsy before (moronic thing to do i know) but i mean to have an open container of alcohol in the car too while speeding? i mean how stupid can you be? if i know i've got some alcohol in my system i'm at least making damn sure i'm not speeding, much less having an open beer can or whatever else in the car with me... this pretty much means the guy was wasted & didn't know what the hell he was doing & didn't care... i thought Joba was more intelligent than that... like i said i hope he learns a valuable lesson from all this.

I see what you're saying TMS. If you're gonna drive drunk, at least obey all laws and chew gum and don't have open booze. That's just reckless.

LINCOLN, Neb. New York Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain's first court appearance for his arrest on suspicion of drunk driving has been scheduled for December 17. Authorities said his blood-alcohol content level was 0.134 at the time of his arrest. The legal limit in Nebraska is 0.08.
I wonder how many drinks a guy his size has to have to get his BAC up to .134
