inexperience by maddon. pulling kazmir after 6 innings up 7-0 and then not pitching howell to ortiz with two on in the 7th. and then sticking with wheeler like torre sticking with scott proctor...

Did you guys notice that every time TBS shows a stat that's bad for a Red Sox player, they come through? "Ortiz has not hit a HR in his last 61 postseason at-bats." Next pitch: HR. "JD Drew is 1-12 against Wheeler." JD Drew HR. "Pena has only hit into 2 DP's all year." DP.

y'all are way too perturbed about this...red sox already won in 2004. once that happened, it no longer matters if they win again. all that matters now is that the yanks win and the mets don't. the red sox curse of the bambino thing is over.
