The trade Dallas made this year is nothing more than having selective players in place for next year's BIG CATCH.....

Cuban is a genius

Please, by all means USE YOUR IMAGINATION!

Bobby-

What are you saying, that Mark Cuban thinks ahead? To what? Who is a major free agent next year? TD? Stevie Franchise?

Chris Cohan is right up there with Dolan and Sterling as being the stupidest owners in basketball.

As of last season, the Warriors finally recovered from Webber/(ironically) Nelson era... with young nucleus led by Jamison and Arenas... now they're gone and so is all the hope for that inept franchise.

Warriors should be SHOT for their off season activity.

jamison is a better 3 than van horn. why couldnt the knicks package spree or some junk contracts (ward, knight, etc.) to golden state for jamison and foyle. i believe that would have been better than van horn.

Pike I understand the anger for losing arenas, but Jamison is going to be no big loss, but the sad thing is that they are losing Jamison because they lost arenas and had to replace him by trading jamison... LOL!!

I don't really see a difference here. Both Jamison and KVH can score, although 'Twan is a bit more of a defender than Van Horn, I'm not sure that he would have made any real difference.

Face it, Jamison isn't the second coming of anything, neither is Van Horn. They both need a bit of work to realize their full potential, but my guess is that neither will.

Playa, one question. All of a sudden you are a half court guy? Didn't wae argue about whether NY should run ore or stay half court for all those years? What gives? I agree with your last 2 posts but I am suprised they come from you!

A running team has not won a ring since the Showtime Lakers.

exactly, but one thing playa is forgetting, Fortson is one step above Being a bum, playa is making him out to be bill russel starting the breaks with rebounds. Fortson is a better offensive rebound and that is only because he knows he can get extra shots that way. he is overestimating fortson..

HERE ARE THE FACTS TKF!

Still, Nelson believes that Fortson could be ``the key to the trade'' if the 6-8, 260-pound forward provides the inside force he has been in parts of six NBA seasons.

Fortson has averaged 17.5 rebounds per 48 minutes played in his career, and was fourth in the league with 11.7 rebounds a game two seasons ago. Fortson missed part of camp last fall after his father died, then played just 17 games after he returned because of injuries and conditioning problems, and what he called just a bad situation with the Warriors.

``I'm really motivated,'' said Fortson, going into the fourth year of a $38 million, seven-year deal. ``I might just explode the first game. I look forward to getting out there and playing again.''

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Gony why are you bringing up Gundy's knicks again? He didn't know when to tell his team to run and when to tell them not to. So the players took it on themselves and ran Miami ,Pacers off the court. That's what I have been saying. It takes a balanced approach and gundy didn't learn that....THE PLAYERS ACTUALLY TAUGHT HIM!

There should be no reason why Dallas and Minny can't come to a mutual agreement with a Mega trade if needed.

Sorry, Stevie franchise is the Rocket's Franchise, I doubt if Dallas could pull him

Not only is this deal good for Dallas [recent trade], but Cuban has created a future option many teams will not be able to match.

Van Horn couldn't carry Jamison's jock. Nuff said.

well, forget about shipping any of the Knick p-guards to Dallas for anything. According to ESPN, the are in fullcourt press to sign Travis Best to a 1 year.

Can't say I blame them. Best will come relatively cheap, and he does have playoff exprience.
