some closing thoughts

Nate looked really good in a lot of ways, hearing him MIc'd up I actually think he could become a full blown LEADER on this team in the near future and I really want him resigned.

Did anyone catch the moment between Steph and Nate?

Steph came down, jacked up one of his patented 22 foot jumpers without letting anyone else touch the ball, and Nate said "Oh my god". Then as they were running up the court.. Nate said "hey Marbury" like 3 times... then when Steph ran by him he said "That was an easy 21 right there" I'm assuming he was referring to a play or something that Steph could have run instead of jacking up the shot. But Steph totally ignored him and Nate annoyingly said "OK! Don't hear me then......" And continued to talk to Duhan about it saying again "that was an easy 21..." Nate sounded very frustrated. This was a key example of Stephon's Cancer on full display.

Jerome is slow as hell. Malik is horrible as ever.

Allan Houston nailed everything, I want him to make the team.. But they didnt give him much run. I'm not sold on Q Rich, he looks slimmer but I'm just not a fat of his game, he's almost more adapt to throwing up bailout 3's than Jamal. I really prefer Wilson at the 3.

This system was built for Nate. It highlights his strengths and hides a lot of his weaknesses. He's finally got a coach here who isn't trying to turn him into Mugsy Bogues.

I wonder if that moment between Steph and Nate will make the NY tabloids (Post, Daily news) or if it will slip under the radar.

This could be just the sort of thing that kept MDA from wanting him to be the starting PG. For as much of a stud as he is over Duhon, you just don't want a PG that doesn't think PG all the time. He's got to be able to stay with the offense and look to run that 1st and then 2nd, before going off on his own.
