Roberson is a joke and the fact that we signed this guy to a guarantee contract for one year is a joke. Couldn't we use a 10 day contract. Where were the other offers coming from? As Suns fans put on their blog be careful of letting D'Antoni have too much input on the makeup of a team. He signs guys he like versus their potential in the league.

When Walsh signed Duhon and Roberson, it clearly looked like a safe contract move to fill the 15 man roster, just as long as we had versatility in any new contracts. But when he picked up Ewing and then invited Houston to come back, it boggled my mind. I'm a little at a loss as to what Walsh is doing right now.

I hope he didn't catch 'isiah-diot-titus-cromo-'bad-move'-mythesus'.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Am I the only one who doesn't think these moves matter at all? All he's doing is trying to create more competition for roster spots in camp, that's all.

As for what I think is happening: Walsh thought Dolan would let him buy some guys out, which clearly is not the case because he doesn't want to pay people for nothing. Obviously Dolan doesn't get basketball because he's paying for nothing regardless of whether or not they play, sit on the bench, or sit on their couch

Why does Utah want Mardy Collins?

oohah

Better question is why the Knicks want to replace Mardy Collins with Roberson?

I think that with Marbury Duhon Robinson and Crawford not even including roberson--we are stacked. We are thin upfront with Jefferies going down.

We're actually not thin up front- we're quite fat with Curry & Zach.

It's a good guess on what your saying, but I don't think i'd want any of these guys being bought out, only to be picked up by someone else, then come back to beat us. I hate to say it, but dolan has 'some' dignity apparently. Let's see if they can improve under the D'Antoni system.

My guess is that a number of moves were made before much thought was put into it. The Roberson move was so strange. Balkman was moved for roster space. Houston probably is the biggest one to throw them for a loop. As far as Walsh goes, he has always made goofy moves. That's one of the things that I don't understand why people don't notice. All you have to do is look at the moves he made the last four years. Part of the reason why he is with the Knicks now (the guy was being forced out). D'Antoni is even worse with his roster moves.

Good scouting Ira. Now can we sign her to a long-term contract?
