Malik sucks. JJ2 too. I wouldn't mind cutting either one.

Houston should not only be cut, but thrown from the building! Why the frick is this guy even getting another chance? Even Walsh is going back to the layden-isiah days of bad moves.

The other one should be Jerome or ewing.

Mardy, just as Lee aren't going anywhere. But who knows with what's been going on with this team. And now curry's in the hospital with Lee starting at center? What the hell are they doing?

Your list, subbing Rose back in for Houston, are 15 absolutely guaranteed contracts. I doubt any of them get waived. Wish I was wrong.

Then, Ewing might be guaranteed. Houston as well. Grunfeld is not.

These are definitely the three players on the outside looking in ---- unless Dolan has a change of heart and goes and buys out someone with a larger contract. IE: James or Rose or Marbury.

No way they will buyout Marbury--if they really aretying to win--Marbury can help them much more than anyoine they have under consideration to can. Also if Duhon gets hurt--who is the back up? Nate?

I would cut Patrick Ewing Grunfeld and either Houston or Roberson.

Nate would actually be a HUGE improvement. But are we forgetting Collins also. All I know is, once suckbury's head goes to his 'ass', then it's all down hill from there.

I don't see them releasing Pat Jr.

I think Grunfeld gets let go, but it sounds like he is doing well and would probably fit nicely with D'Antoni's system- we need smart guys that can make quick decisions, not necessarialy the best athletes.

Can they let go of Roberson after making such a quick decision on him during summer league?

I know Walsh doesn't do buy outs, but I would think Malik would accept a reasonable offer.

Well, someone has to go. Grunfeld is the most like to go first. Dump Houston immediately! Jerome would be the better buyout, to make room and if not, then Jr. has to go also. Malik is better to keep and forget suckbury leaving. Dolan doesn't want to grant Walsh a buyout. But somethings got to give with Jerome. He's completely worthless and makes way too much, for another two seasons. Good god! I say keep him on injury list (if they don't buy him out), until January so they can give him a retirement settlement and be done with it.

Unbelievably, suckbury is the second highest paid basketball player in the NBA and isn't worth a dime of it. isiah is one stupid man. What a mess.

this is a no brainer...Houston and Ewing will get cut. I know everyone wants Malik and Snacks cut, but that is not reality. Those guys have two yrs remaining. Hou and have non-garuantee contracts. Houston knows his shot to make this team is a long one. A shot that may even be out of his range.


"Knowing I'll remain with the Knicks in some capacity makes me very happy," Houston said. "But I don't want to think about a new career right now. I want to concentrate solely on reviving my old one. That's my compete focus."

By the way, do you guys remember a guy named Anthony "Something" who tore up training camp about 5-6 years ago, maybe even 2 years in a row and got cut? was it Anthony Parker?

Who did you play for? Roberson I believe has already been signed and they took his contract because it was versatile and they think he can run in a D'Antoni system.

Roberson has a one year guarantee contract.
