Houston is shot and can only play 5 minutes a game.

How do you know?

Well, 5 minutes was about his limit 4 yeas ago. It probably hasn't gone up.

For the 20 games we had him, he was playing about 20-25 minutes. Regardless, he's not giving that much to any NBA team.

That's why I say 5 minutes was his limit. Playing 20 minutes a game for 20 games tore him apart.

However, I love Houston and would like to see him beat the odds.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Allan, please leave us alone. This yearly comeback attempt is tiring.

Actually, I would love to have him in camp. Maybe he doesn't make the squad. Maybe he will outplay the younger kids. Wither way, he is a positive influence to have around the younger players and the training camp invite doesn't cost the Knicks anything other than a locker.

Also, I think it is refreshing that there are still players that bleed blue and orange.

Maybe he just wants to come to training camp to convert players to his religious beliefs. Maybe he's worried about the influx of Catholics- D'Antoni and Gallo- to the team.

On a more serious not...I don't know how training camp contracts work, but if he wants to try, I can't see anything wrong with it as long as it does not hurt team chemistry or the development of any other players. At his age though, I can't see him having improved enough to be able to play in the NBA again. It's not like he had Jordan's athletic ability before he was injured- so you have age, his injury, and the fact that even in his prime he was not an athletic freak going against him and this comeback attempt.

I have seen Houston play a little bit during pick up games with college ball players and a few guys that used to be in Europe, his jumper is still there but he can't guard a soul, he would be a tremendous liability.

He should just call it a career, he was a good Knick and great talent

I like that, and I like the fact that walsh is even looking to keep him around on the operations end.... I met Houston some years ago here in Atlant, he is just a nice guy, took pictures with my wife and son, and did so willingly, he stood there and took 3 different pictures. Class Act, has always been, even during his playing days with the knicks was a true professional 100% of the time...

Allan Houston is a born again Christian who lives it.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
