No, it's just clarifying that Lampe chose not to comment on a trade which made no sense... over publicly denouncing it.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Nope. Actually, he may be more well-versed in "political correctness" than he has been given credit for. Hopefully he won't fall in line with the rest of the robots.

Lampe has no idea if KVH or anyone on the Knicks can ball. So he didn't say anything. Wow what an interesting concept. When you are not familiar with a topic you don't comment. Shocking. I wonder if this trend will catch on. Maybe even at Ultimateknicks.com!

What's your opinion about the Van Horn-for-Sprewell trade?

ML: Well, that's not something about which I should give my opinion.

Okay, let's discuss this:

If he said "could" (or even "would"), nwny's reasoning would be 100% accurate. Being that he said "should", it implies that there may be something else behind his decision to not "give his opinion". For all we know, he was debriefed on exactly what and (more importantly) what not to say.

Intelligence is a wonderful thing too. Hopefully that catches on as well.

Didn't Lampe get asked about the damn trade in the interview? I quoted the question and the answer. I made one comment and cats wanted to discuss it. I have reason to believe that's what threads are for. Get a clue, bruh...

"Me and my crew" (it's good to see that someone sees the unity! LOL) can't be called playa haters unless the reference is to you.

I think if you want your top 5 players on the court, then Lampe will HAVE To see time at C. A front line of KVH, KT and LAmpe has nice size. If by some miracle, DICE comes back strong, then NY can actually have a dominant front court. I would rather see Lampe and Doleac at C and KT and Sweets at PF than KT at C an Spoon/OH at PF.

I reiterate, Any trade involving Spoon is a good trade!
