and the price would be David Lee and Malik Rose, which one, if any, would you trade for. Also, assume that you had to either meet or come close to the contract demands of the player who we obtained for the sign and trade to work.

Would you do it for Nate/Lee/Crawford and your 2009 first rounder? Awful lot to give up for a team rebuilding...

Atlanta seriously needs a dude that can post up and Zach is that guy.

If Josh Smith doesn't wanna be there then Atlanta should get the best value for him. Say what you want about Zach......he can rebound that ball and score inside.

They still look awesome.....if not better offensively and on the boards.

Josh Smith is exactly what the Knicks need at this point in time........muthafuk 2010 if the Knicks can get this kid.

Donnie can still play with salaries to make something else happen....that's his job.

Its not an insane idea and Atlanta seriously does look better with a guy they can dump it inside to. They lose a little oooohhh and aaaaahhhh but they get better on the boards.

Josh Smith blocks shots and he needs to be set free on the break. Knicks need that for D'antoni's offense. Chandler helps Josh on the boards and on defense and lets Lazy Eddy just be lazy.

It also would bring back the never ending argument of drafting Gallo instead of Bayless. Duhon and Bayless together @ point along with Craw and roberson with Josh and Chandler up front with curry.....not bad..........I guess if Josh does become a Knick, which is wishfull thinking.....we can dance for the next decade about that.

I'd love to see Deng on the break. He's fast, a great finisher, he's developed a decent shot and he's a good man defender.

OK - Why don't we get Deng (uninjured I hope).....we have taken almost every Bulls player anyway. It would probably be a sign and trade and cost us Chandler plus at least 1 other good player. Maybe Nate?? I'd love it to be Mardy though. Maybe Curry or Zach if we need to match salary.

My first choice though is still Josh Smith.

It looks like 2 down, and only 1 possibility left. Josh Smith. I'd love to get Smith....but this proposed contract with Deng just shows that the other teams are not stupid. They re-sign their young stars.
