You guys are kind of miss reading what im saying.

Im saying its not as big a deal to be a contender when targeting a Lebron or Wade or Amare or Johnson or Bosh as it is to be able to offer them more money then any other team.

The odds are already against us in getting any of them. Odds would be greater in landing them if we were able to offer a team more money then any other team then if we were a contender but had to offer less.

If the Idea though is to try and win some games in between the time frame. This way we come off as a team on the rise. While Crawford opts out & They decide to move Randolph and we gain cap space to offer these players max as well as our market and try and pursuade them they could make more money in NY then any other place then I can understand that.

The best thing that could happen would be for Chandler & Gallo to both play really well. And we land another good draft pick next yrs draft. This way we can show off 3 legit prospects and that we are on the rise.
