At the league minimum, does anyone really care how many years? The buyout is just as easy as the team option. Hell, he may not make it through the season.

exactly... I am not a fan of this guy. I will trust walsh on this one.. roberson can shoot the rock, but he seems to do nothing else.... we will see...

He can shoot the rock & is also a terrific athlete (this is not a 6'3" Wally Szcerbiak). Now, whether he can defend or distribute is another question & one that can't be answered by one SL game that was played while his agent was negotiating his 1st guaranteed NBA deal (meaning, he was extra motivated to show his stuff).

This is dumb. I'd rather sign Wafer or Holland. Roberson only showed me he loves chucking shots.

Get off Robersons back, Dantoni want guys who aren't afraid to shoot and score at will with no reservations. Have you watched the suns play before?

GKFV - I've got to think that the Walsh/Dantoni scouting report is more thorough than yours (which apart from what any of us saw of him at UF, is limited to 1 solitary game).

Steve Nash if I'm not mistaking, did not come to NY with coach D'Antoni to share the ball around.

You guys are ridiculous. You act the like the guy is going to come into a NBA game and start chucking shots. It's summer league relax. Everybody is a little selfish in the summer league. With further coaching the team mentality will take over the Knicks. Or D'Antoni is gonna yank ya!!!!

Since they played together in college, they may gel more quickly on the knicks. Also I'm sure that Walsh and D'A would have asked David Lee about Roberson, his abilities and his character. So, another good sign.
