Alan Hahn - recent blog on Gallinari:

12:11 [Comment From Post-up Prince]
Based on what you have seen of Galinari, is he mobile enough to play the 3 spot or is he strictly a 4. What in your view is his
12:12 He can play either. He's more athletic than anyone thought and tougher than most Euros. Goes hard to the hole, takes contact. But looks very comfortable on the wing and pushing the ball.
12:16 [Comment From Mark]
How good did Gallo look at the workout last night? Initial impressions?
12:18 Like I said above, more athletic than I thought. Really runs the floor well. Relentless, plays above the rim. A few put-back dunks. Good stroke with the right hand. Good passer, too. Nifty stuff to find Wilson Chandler for a dunk. They ran a few sets where he had the ball in the PG spot and he ran the offense. They were probably doing that for our benefit of course. But he's got the total package. Maturity and experience is all he needs.
12:38 [Comment From Sergio]
Who does The Roostah remind you of?
12:39 A cross between Toni Kukoc and Tom Chambers.
12:58 [Comment From Erik]
Alan, alot of draft scouts said that Gallo wasn't very athletic but in the youtube videos I saw of him I didn't see that. Based on what you've seen of him so far how would you rate his altheltisicm?
12:59 As I said earlier, Erik...he shows a lot of athleticism. Power. Not fluid like, say, Joe Alexander, but Gallinari goes strong and fast to the hole and can adjust mid-move. He looks huge when he runs the floor, too. Very long legs.

I also deserve some credit for noticing Roberson. And I can provide a link to my comments on him. They are in the official summer league thread:

"I'm really pulling for Anthony Roberson to make the team. He could be this year's Russel Walker Jr."

That's not a Rick Roll. Did you want it to be? You can just go to YouTube to hear the tune any time you want. You don't have to wait to get Rick Rolled.

Hahn clearly got his Toni Kukoc comparison off me.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
