About Jaycee Carroll though, I think you are absolutely right about him, we should sign up right now. He could score points in bunches and run the court which is what Mike D is all about.

This kid is the absolute real deal. He looked awesome again today. This kid would be great off the bench for us.

By the way the MVP of the Orlando SL so far and Nets steal---Brook Lopez
Westbrook was and then had a real stinker today. No one can stop Brook too skilled to big and much better on the D than people think.

Briggs, I'd be cautiously optimistic with Brook. If theres one thing that the summer league lacks, it's talented big men, so any big man lotto pick should perform well in the summer league.

I'm not trying to say I don't think Lopez is any good, I think he has some nice skills offensively, but I wouldn't use the summer league to prove it.

Brook Lopez is going to be a VERY good pro player--nets got a steal. I cant believe people compared him to frye--Lopez is a monster size wise.

Totally different players. Bogut is a do-it-all type who is a superior passer for a big man, he's alsolike a Jeter type who does the little things that don't show up - he does have offensive game though. I think Brook's effect in this league is going to be more of a 18/10 guy.

If I had the choice between the two, I would take Bogut 10 times out of 10.

Yeah I agree. I never agreed with the Frye comparisons, Brook was a better Pac10 big man than that, but I still don't know what to expect from him. I like his skills, I don't know theres just something about him that I don't like. Definitely not a frye though, he'll be better than that.

Ive always been big on Bogut---I think it's about time he lived up to his potential. Hard to compare someone who hasnt played 1 minute of NBA basketball but right now Im not willing to sell him short--he looks real good. He may take some lumps and see some FT but for pick 10 the nets got a very good player. If you look at the nets Brook is going to start for sure.

Brook Lopez can score- he's an offensive center. Its just the rest of his game I'm not so sure about.

Will you say the same about "THE GALL" Gallanari

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Oh right Playa, I forgot your argument... which was, if you're white (which I am) then you'll love Gallo.

Guess we already know what I'll say about Gallo

He's way better than people are giving him credit for. He was a top 5 pick. If Gallinari is better than Lopez I will be more than surprised. Nets stole this guy. Charlotte was STUPID

Excellent call Briggs. Definitely looks like a player. Good handle, goes to the rim well, good shooter and hits his FTs. If this kid continues to show well in the summer league and the Nets cut him, I'd give him a look if I were Walsh/D'Antoni. Why not? I like the "Steve Kerr with a little more game" call - actually reminds me of a combo. of Jason Williams/Mark Price. You see if it were up to me, these would be the type of guys I'd go after during a rebuilding stage - cost effective guys with nice potential. Probably a moot point now for us with the addition of Chris Duhon, but I tell you what, with that quick trigger and his potential as a offensive player it wouldn't suprise me at all if some team gives him a look....

Plus those numbers he put up last year for Utah State are staggering --- 37+ mins. a game, 22+ pts, 53% FG, 49+% on 3s, over 90% at the line - unheard of.....
