Charlie V? No thanks. The guy has regressed every year he's been in the league. Another player who's far better in theory than in practice.
Regressed? No way VD.....all you gotta do is observe his game logs....check the box scores of games......The Bucks are one of those teams that are run by the owners that say, "play this guy and keep this guy outta there. I don't want him to be the face of the franchise".
Whenever Charlie was given starters minutes he dropped bigtime numbers. He wants to play and he has a willingness to be an all-star. The guy is 6'11" and can do it all. He's not Tim Thomas. Charlie once he gets his minutes will average close to a double double and get a block and a half a game.....Tim Thomas could never do that and he never did and he should have.
VD stop your mess bro or I'm gonna give you the weggie of your life the next time I see you!
Eny, I know you love this guy, but look at his FG percentage falling over 6 pts this year. Charlie got his best stats in his rookie year. This is a guy that should've been improving, not seeing his productivity decline. And every year he seems to inspire so much confidence in his coach that he manages to player fewer important minutes. I think he has a ton of talent, but he's a bit of a knucklehead that seems to play a lot lower in his ability. Now he isn't a straight out feminine character like Tim Thomas, but he's a bit of a space cadet. I always said when he was at UConn that he could be like Sheed if he had a little more of a killer instinct to go with his wayward personality. He has the same skillset.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be willing to take a chance on this guy, but this isn't a player I'd move David Lee for. On a minute for minute basis, David Lee, with supposedly no offensive talent, scores about the same or more than this guy with a far fewer amount of shots, obviously rebounds much more and just plays harder. I think you can get more for Lee than Charlie. If you're talking about Charlie+Sessions and a future pick for Lee than I'd be more interested.
