Walsh said that he and the Knicks medical staff that DG is still growing and could be 6 11 or 7 feet. Walsh said he will be a 4. I think Mike D vision for the Knicks future is Wilson Chandler at 3 and DG at the 4. He likes both guys because they can spread the floor. The MSG expert said that he believes Zack/Curry will play the 5. Walsh also said that DG will be in the rotation in the fall. I think Zack will get the Nod because he bounds and can spread the floor.

We can go with Lee at 5. What the use of Zack/Curry in D'Antony system?
Lee\Gallinari\Chandler\Craf\Nate - here you go with <7 sec offense and 0 defense.
All the rest - get read of the crap....

Lee doesn't have the mass to play 5 on regular basis, he has trouble with the 4.

What was the deal about 5 in Phonix?

knicks are NOT in the business of trying to win a ring. they want to sell tix, create a buzz and make money.

Time to change their business model. I'm sick of the Bostons and Miamis and LAs getting championships and we're not.

The problem with that is he can't rebound. Unless he starts working on his rebounding he will get killed. Can you imagine Curry and Gallinari on the boards? Rebounding is one of the keys that leads to a fastbreak.

Q is done. Marbs you can't count on.

I have reason to believe that a deal with Charlotte is going to happen and I can't see how a Felton deal will work under the CBA rules, so here's the team I think we're going forward with...

Augustine
Craw
Chandler
Gallinari
ZBo?

Bench - Nate, Balkman, Jeffries, Curry

I felt Q was done 2 years ago. The thing is coaches seem to love the guy. Whether it's Brown or Isiah Q got to start. The way Q ran to the D'Antoni press conference I doubt he is going to be coming off the bench. I'm pretty sure D'Antoni is going to go with the two guys starting that already know his system. That is Marbury and Q.

I guarantee you Balkman and Chandler are going to take this guys lunch everyday in practice. Walsh's next move better be better than this one.

I don't know. If you look at what the Pacers looked like before Walsh left you have to be shaking your head.

Marbs doesn't really know the system. I doubt he'll ever play for this team.

Isn't Chandler a young Q?

I really wish Mardy came to camp with a jumper. Then I think you could play Mardy, Chandler, Gallinari, Zbo, and trade Craw for a defensive pivot.

What ever happened to Steven Hunter? He'd be a great fit for a stop-gap.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Gallinari was a SF who avg 5.7 rebounds for his team. He will be a PF for the Knicks.

I think a young Q is better than a young Chandler and their games are different. Q use to be the guy that could go back and forward scoring with anyone. I remember Q on the Clippers really giving it to Kobe. Chandler has a better handle than Q and can block shots. Chandler looks like he is better on the open court.

As far as Steven Hunter the last time he was suppose to play for the Knicks he dissed the Knicks and said he did not want to play in New York. The end result was we took Karate James instead.

Know to Mardy. I really think Mardy is overrated by Knick fans. It's like Frank Williams the 3rd. If Mardy does not find a shot quick he will be out of the league faster than people think. Mardy is a point guard that can't shoot midrange shots or foul line shots. This is crucial at a position like the point guard position. There were points last season where Mardy looked like his handle barely got him past halfcourt. Not to mention his passing game is suspect.
Really what aspect of Mardy's game is even better than Fred Jones game?

I think he should get 25 minutes a game at the four..... and I would make him start.

he's 19.. why does he have to be an impact player next year for this to be a good draft? I see these posts and dont blame management for selling picks. Why doesnt he get the same few years to develop that 19 year old anthony randolph would get?
