Play it safe go with D'Antonio Davis' guy. If we could get lucky and snatch Mayo sure but the Italian was first and foremost.

Bayless would have been safe IMHO. Gallinari is anything but safe.... being euro etc. How is the status quo plan terrible?

i don't think u call Gallinari a project... he's pretty polished as a player judging from his scouting reports & the fact he's already proven himself on the international stage... he's just not a PG... the Knicks wanted Mayo or Westbrooke & felt the other guys just weren't in the same class apparently.

All the analysis tonight says we're going to have to wait on him. For heavens sake he's probably not better then Bargnani right now and he's almost considered a Bust. Gallinari is at least 2yrs away.

i disagree w/that... if the Knicks are looking to trade D Lee they obviously feel Gallinari can contribute right now.
