we know we're in trouble if we all want westbrook - it means we can't possibly get him.

I expect Gallinari to make as big a contribution to the Knicks as Frederic Weis & Milos Vujanic did.

if the Knicks don't pick him i expect you to be right.

We're all creaming all over Westbrook, just like last year it was Morris Almond.
Watch we're going to pick someone no one on the forum is touting.
Then we'll all sit around and kvetch about it for 3 months.

And in the end, both the guy we picked AND Westbrook won't amount to nothin', and the pick after us will become the next Amare.

In all fairness, Morris dominated the D-League and hardly got a chance in hell to play in Utah. Bynum so far better than Frye. Rondo kicked arse in a final chamionship game over a guy we could have just bought or signed as an undrafted free agent. The beotching continues.

read somewhere larry brown is on the westbrook bandwagon and he is set to work out for Charlotte

Already worked out for them and Yep LB likes him.

If LB likes him then I don't want him.

Right. It's likely another of the evil old man's tricks - pretending he likes the guy, hoping the Knicks take him.

With Westbrook it's all about how much he'd improve the defense at the top. We have suffered for so long with poor perimeter D, that it would be downright shocking to see a Knick guard shutting players down on the perimeter. I have some questions about his PG skills, but he may be one of the best combo guard candidates to be groomed as a PG. He's at least already showed some talent for running an offense when given a chance.

He bitch slapped the Knicks with Mardy and Balkman.

I would rather take Bayless over Westbrook. Bayless is going to be a special scorer and from what I have seen, he looks like he can play defense. If Bayless is gone, then Westbrook would have to be the pick.
