Anything Scott LayDown is doing, I believe will be detrimental to the team. He has officially gotten my vote of "No Confidence". I don't know what LayDown is trying to do to my team. Raef LaFrentz??? Oh, boy...

I am glad you asked. Yes, I have thought about it. The Mavs are dying for some inside toughness that KT can give them, to at least slow down the big men in the West. Nellie has stated in more than 1 occasion that one of the biggest blunders the Mavs have done in recent years is not trying hard enough to keep KT. This move for the Mavs can work on different levels.

1. In offense KT is not your back-to-the-basket type of big man. He is a mid-range shooter that will pull the oposing big man away from the basket and he is quick enough to get rebounds since he hangs around near the basket in offense from the box to the shoulders to the top of the key.

2. In defense KT will work his opponent to get good position thus making his opponents lose some energy during the course of the game. Everytime we played the Lakers he gave Shaq some trouble taking Shaq down a notch from demigod status. I consider KT a poor mans Rick Mahorn. Hey, necrom33! You weren't talking about Mahorn were you?

3. In special teams...ooops...sorry thinking about my Jints again. GO BIG BLUE!!!

4. Those EYES! Man, he can make Shaq cower in fear or at least fall down laughing.

Wait, why are we trying to trade KT again? Oh, that's right. We have about 6-7 PFs in the roster with no legitimate center (Sorry Doleac )

I agree about Layden. Although, I am not opposed ot the Spree trade, Layden has lost my trust.

In regards with the 2 players, Keon or LaFrentz, I have not seen a lot of Keon games and cannot make a decision on him. With LaFrentz, I like is shotblocking skilss and I am a little worried with his rebounding skills.

Just talking about the primaries of a rumored trade. Obviously players would be added to make the deal. Harrington and KT for LaFrentz works.

I wasn't trying to sell you on KT. I was merely stating why the Mavs would want KT.

Where did they play LaFrentz last year? Center when Bradley is on the bench. PF when playing alongside Bradley. If they get him their starting lineup would be...

Not bad.

In Bradley and LaFrentz you have two good shot blockers but not the physical post defender you need. I am using another Shaq example but when LaFrentz guarded Shaq it was lights out. Shaq just overpowers Raef all the way inside. With KT when he played Shaq he pushed him away from his comfort zone and when Shaq decided to score Shaq was using a dimmer.

okay. go back and read my post. i know why th mavs would want kurt. that we agree on

my thing was if lafrentz trade was worth it then why would they be giving up a legit to get a non-legit presence.

the shaq vs lafrentz scenario is so played ou it's not even funny. don't use the dominant presence to make a point. shaq is not the problem with lafrentz, lafrentz is. but i hope the knicks do get lafrentz. and kurt goes to the mavericks.

all that back to the basket stuff is ridiculous when you are discussing the mavs. and you know it

the mavs want to get rid of lafrentz because he is weak minded. they want kurt because he is willing to try and mix it up

your post exclusively shows kurt's value.
