Just because a team makes one very questionable move doesn't mean that they will continue that history with every future move. That's only true of Isiah Thomas-run teams.

He's very good at getting response---of course letting this little BS out of the bag its going to create a lot of hype. the one caveat--I heard very serious rumors that we TURNED down pick 5 from the Grizzlies last year for Lee--they may just like Lee and for good reason right?

Still remains to be seen. Isiah was 0-for-11 or 0-for-12 on trades and badly pwned on at least 9 or 10 of those. Isiah's one of a kind.

What I take most from this rumor is that DW more than likely wants to move Lee for a pick in the first round. I mean ROTFLOL @ him he has us taking Danilo Gallinari again in his latest mock after telling us for 3weeks Dantoni isn't high on him.

Donnie Walsh put this bug in his ear to drive up Lee's stock.

I would have to do this deal. It would really pave the way for another deal into the top 3 with Minny. Nate the 5 and Chandler for the 3 and Jaric . Or how about Curry Nate and the 5 for Walker and the 3?

I would use the later pick on Alexander.

The possibility of coming out of this draft with Mayo and Alexander is such an enticing proposition.

This would be a dream come true... this GREATLY helps our 2010 cap situation because then we don't have to worry about resigning David Lee to an extension. Furthermore, the backcourt could be co0mpletely rebuilt... like two of Westbrook, Gordon, and Augustin. I mean, Westbrook + Augustin sounds really good to me.

When the best players at five and six are guards, I wouldn't say there is no possibility. It's not like the Knicks are set at any position.

Drafting guards in the top 10 is generally a bad proposition. If you use a top 10 pick on a guard, you better get a star. Other positions are generally harder to fill with quality players and later picks.

when we already have 5 G's on the roster already that are committed to guaranteed dollars, i don't think there's much possibility that we'd be taking 2 G's w/2 top 10 picks if we had them... if that happened then there would have to be a trade in place beforehand to unload 2 of either Nate, Jamal, Marbs, Mardy or Q Rich... if we traded for an extra pick in the top 10 then i could see the Knicks taking a G & either a shotblocking bigman or a long, athletic swingman.

Doubt Walsh uses both picks. I see 2 possibilities:

1. Swap 5-6 with Minny for 3 and draft Mayo. (swapping with Miami is a long shot but I would call them first.)

2. Use pick 5 for us and package 6 and Zach for a salary dump.
