The only thing I will say is, who are the Pistons going to trade? To really make any trade work they would have to give up atleast one of the following Billups, Prince, Sheed, Rip. I just can't see any of those guys in a trade for Zach. I'll hope and cross fingers that Dumars would make a mistake like that, I'd love anyone of those guys.
Not to completely piggyback on others' suggestions, but Sheed for Randolph really works. From a salary and P.R angle, Dumars can sell the deal as ridding the team of a declining player and adding a younger piece.
Lets not kid ourselves, Zach can ball. His game just isnt that flexible, and obviously he's a head case. In many respects, Randolph will be similar to the reclamation project Sheed was a few years ago. Just surround him by proven winners and *presto* ...or at least thats what the Detroit team ball manual probably says.
