![]() Posted by TrueBlue:Posted by Uptown:Posted by nyk4ever: I believe it was game 4 and if Horry misses that three, Kings go up 3-1 with the seires going back to Sac-town. The refs would have really had there work cut out for them then. |

Please, he blocked by Pippen from behind, blocked by the backboard (underneath) then got stripped. BTW...I dont have the stats in front of me but I believe the Knicks went to the line more than the Bulls and missed a ton of freethtows in that game. [Edited by - uptown on 06-10-2008 11:00 PM] |

![]() he got fouled... that was a bogus non call, come on.
& yes, i do think the refs giving Jordan preferential treatment helped screw us out of some games during those years... he got to the line more than he should have & got our guys into early foul trouble trying to guard him by having ticky tack fouls called against them... if u don't think that doesn't have a significant impact on the outcome of games i don't know what to tell ya. i'm not shortchanging Jordan of his greatness, i have more respect for him as a player than i do anyone who's ever played the game, but the refs treated him w/baby gloves on a lot of occasions, i don't think that much can even be debated... that preferential treatment had to have effected games. After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

![]() Posted by TrueBlue:Posted by Uptown:Posted by TrueBlue:Posted by Uptown:Posted by nyk4ever: Walk with me. In 2002, the first 2 games was in Sac, 3 & 4 was in L.A and game 5 was back in Sac. The Horry three was in L.A. so it had to be game 4 because Sac won game 5. I stand corrected if I go my years mixed up but I will look it up now... |

I wasn't stating again you had it wrong and regardless the series was still in the balance of the Kings until Game 6. They got cheated. 27 foul shots in the 4rth qrt..... History Defying. I also doubt Jordan goes up as soft as Smith went up. Smith didn't even attempt to use his body on any of the plays. |

![]() Of course it's hypothetical. It's also a hell of a lot more than just possible. It's an absolute lock. I'd put TrueBlue's life on it.

![]() Game 6 is indefensible. Wow, that Nadar column brought everything back into focus. Powerful ether. Just read the column that TrueBlue posted if one is unclear about what really went on. I also remember that at the start of the finals, between the Nets and Lakers, NBC asked Stern about Nader's criticism and Stern basically positioned Nader as some idiot or kook. It was just the height of bloated arrogance and his body language telegraphed a corrupt soul.
I dont want to muddy the waters by invoking Jordan, or past injustices. Just spotlight Game 6 and see how much the intergrity of the league holds up. My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.
