These NBA GM's have no clue what they are doing. Every year we see a team pick a player that they don't even need and straight up keep them......Every year someone slips.

If everyone picks who they want and stop looking to get over then its quite possible Beasley can slip all the way to #6.

Bulls - rose
Miami - Mayo
Minn - Lopez
Seattle - Bayless
Memphis - Love
Knicks - ???Beasley???

Why not the Knicks man why not the Knicks!

I knew I'd make a believer out of someone with that.thread. Eny, in my book this is a real possibility. Keep the Faith.

Why would Seattle pass up on him? Cause of Wilcox?

My initial reasoning is that Seattle already has a solid PF in Wilcox but possibly more importantly if I'm Seattle I worry a bit about bringing Beasley in and what his presense might do to Kevin Durant. Beasley could over-shadow Durant, will certainly take shots away from him and could screw up chemistry.

I think Seattle is either going to look Center or Point.

Beasley rubbed people the wrong way with his interviews and at the pre-draft camp when the lotto picks played.

Seattle needs a PG MUCH more than they need a PF. Actually what they NEED is a center, but who knows if they gave up on Swift yet. If they still buy into him drafting Beasley would kill the SF spot for Jeff Green and would make Green bite into Durant's time. I just think getting Beasley makes more problems for them than it solves and if they are as in love with Bayless as is being let on in media outlets......

Hey guys, Portland needed a center much more than they did another 2 guard when they had Clyde the Glyde. You don't pass on great talent.

There has been a ton of talent that didn't pan out.

Beasley is not falling pass 3. Thats why teams go to the lottery so they can get one of the top 2 players (Beasley and Rose). This draft is based on what the Bulls do at number 1. Here is my mock for 2 different #1 scenarios...

Chicago Rose / Beasley
Miami OJ Mayo / Rose
Minnesota Beasley / Lopez
Seattle Bayless / Bayless
Memphis Love / Mayo
New York ??? / ???

They woulda been in a bind having Clyde and Jordan......they would of had to trade one eventually. They both were studs. The guy that Portland got was good. He just had the injuries and never could get back into the same shape he was in. Portland did the right thing. It worked out for each team anyway. Both teams went on to compete hard for championships and that's all you can ask.

Bayless, Love, Mayo, Rose, and even Lopez have the potential to become all-stars in the future. Anybody remember Ed O'Bannon? He was supposed to be awesome but what happened to him? Eddie Griffith, Scottie Thurman from the razorback days? Tyus Edney? I can run down the list of awesome players that should be house hold names but just disappeared off the face of the american basketball scene.

I say teams should do them. Don't pick a player just because you want an asset to pawn and you wanna screw other teams......that's ****ed up.

Its hard to expect Beasley to fall all the way to #6.....but take a look at the history of the league. Teams have past on some of the Greatest players in NBA history for bums like John Koncak. They were bums in college yet they still were picked in lottery range.

they may pass up Beasley but if they do he won't be falling to us at #6... they'll pass on him by trading down or up depending on who they're targetting in the draft... i think the only way we land Beasley or Mayo is by trading up to 1 of the top 3 spots.

Lets just pick Anthony Randolph and call it a draft day. I don't see Beasley, Mayo or Rose falling anywhere past the 5th pick.

to be honest i think i'd rather trade down w/the Nets for their 2 picks & take either Alexander or Gallinari w/the #10 & see what's available at #21
