WHO CARES?

Someone hear an echo?

Thought not. Give Spree a chance for a title. He will help the Spurs more than he can help the Knicks by playing the 3. Gives the youngsters a chance to play some more minutes.

I am worried about 2 things with VH: his softness and the contract. If those things can be squared away, then let's get down to it.

Masterjedi, I don't worry about PLAYA's petty behavior.

As far as your comment about KVH softness... he's not chesse... in other words, he won't harden over time. However, he'll fit in nicely with Houston. Just forget about using the word tough... we may never get a rebound. Makes it that much more important we land a guy like Theo Ratliff.

Can't do anything about Van Horn's contract either... also fits well with Allan's overpaid status.

How can you say Payton is still in his prime? The man is 35 years old! I'm starting to worry about you, ARES.

Seriously, he's still productive but, NOT in his prime.
LOL... yea pike, I think Ares jumped on the bandwagon too late.. the spurs got a pretty decent player in Nesterovic and are about to get a good player in spree, I personally think that will keep the spurs ahead of the lakers even with the addition of Payton and 40 year old malone..

... he had to find Barry Bonds to make his argument look good... next, he's going to say Ricky Henderson is in his prime.

TKF man you can make your self look bad sometimes damn

I thought you knew

Here you are the guy saying Dirk notwiski is a bum and KenyonMartin is a bum talking about nestoric was a good pick up for the spurs, whats worse is you trying to use nestorich as a point to deflect the lakers picking up malone and payton. at this point nestorich cant hold 40 year old malones hay stacks.

pike i thought you had a clue.

Tkf you was being tkf when you said spree negates malone and gary, you ALWAYS look at your teams perspective we have this debate every week. one of your points was malone and Gary are beyond there prime, blah blah blah

Maybe you havent noticed latrell sprewell at 32 is beyond his prime too fool. good player but he aint throwing it down over 7 footers anymore. he also has more comp at Two than Gary has at one.

Which match up is tougher, gary payton with parker, or sprewell with kobe. a pissed kobe.

pike you co signing this??

pike ,pike, pike,
Gary was a all star, last season and will be one this season, Jordan was the best player in the NBA at 35 what he has lost at in speed he gained in experience.

lets think objective who lost more Gary or spreewell, who can contribute more to a team Gary or spree.

i thought yall knew my name.

lets now think about this they are losing a valuable guy like Rose to get spree,

a lot of toughness there, nestorich going to have to guard shaq,

nestoruicvh is a damn bum, he soft and will resemble casper.

can the spurs win hell yeah they got Tim

Have they eclipsed what l.a have done

only a damn fool would say that, well maybe two damn fools.

Look Iceman, as far as the Spurs surpassing Malone and Payton signing if they add Spree was all tkf's doing. I simply said Glove ain't in his prime.. he isn't. Malone is even further past his prime BUT, as I said CORRECTLY last season, Lakers had HORRIBLE supporting cast and I guess I was right based upon what they did to bolster the team.

ARES, if you recall correctly, I was on a mission to bring GLOVE to New York... when was that though? Four years ago!! He's better than George and the rest of the mediocre guys Lakers had... but, his game is heading in the wrong direction. Then again, he and Malone won't be expected to do as much. It's all good but, keep it real.

All I know is... you are going to great lengths to attempt to prove Payton is in his prime. He's not...

the fact you cant answer the question is all the proof i need to know i am right,

known you for 5 years when you dont answer it's your way of saying ice you are right.

Gary is in his prime STILL. no one can say what your prime is especially from behind a computer. Gary believes he is in his prime, and from what he is doing the NBA believes him.

if gary comes to the knicks this year he be the best point guard he knicks had sine CYLDE.

He is in his Prime. jordan at 35 was in his prime, it's called woring out staying in shape try it some time.

Another reason why Gary is in his prime and malone is still a damn good player, neither guy gets hurt

for two guys out there prime i bet they play more games than 90 pct of the nba.

i'm right you wrong period!

Cute, but false. KVH grabs 7.1 boards per game.

SPEAKING ON LATRELL SPREWELL : He has slipped," said one N.B.A. head coach who spoke on condition of anonymity. "Why he slipped, I don't know. It might be because he had less motivation on a team that was not a playoff team, that he reverted to the Golden State indifference when they were bad. He's not a guy you'd want on a bad team. SOME CLAIM HE PLAYED HARD ALL THE TIME , I BEG TO DIFFER I SAID MANY TIMES HE WAS ACTING LIKE A SELFISH GOLDEN ST GUY ALL OVER AGAIN BLAMING EVERYBODY BUT HIMSELF. Good ridance.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

PLAYA i guess the T-WOLVES offered more than a jelly swandwich & some kool aid for SPREWEL. Word on the street, they beat my offer because KEVIN MCHALE included a free HERMAN MONSTER POSTER in the trade package.
