Curious what you guys think. Nate has had good moments and certainly shown flashes. He's also... well, retarded. I am curious about what you guys think is best for the team at this point. I think he's got a good amount of appeal around the league, as a scorer off the bench at worst. Would you rather see him in Mike's system or be moved for another quick guard type?
See how Nate plays in Mike D's system
Move Nate for a late #1 and add a guy like DJ Aug, Ty Lawson or BPA with a pick 20-30 range

You're a fool if you don't make that trade.

Get that piece of **** off my team, he's a loser who only cares about getting his and doing stupid pet tricks.

Its' funny how Nate being the small little tike he is does prove to be effective at times, when he's greenlighted and New Yorkers love him. Most don't want to see him go for whatever idiotic reason. He doesn't have a clear position really. He isn't a 2 guard and he definitely isn't a point guard but when it comes to looking at this summer's draft and prospects, there's all this concern for player's and their height's.

Trade him to Barnum and Bailey where he belongs.

Any player on this team is tradeable--there is no must player on the team.

that wasnt the question. The question was do you trade him for a late first rounder... say 18-25

Briggs would trade his mother for a mid to late first rounder.

I didn't say that I would trade for his mother.

I'd trade for yours though.

I wouldn't do the trade unless one of two things happens.

1) We either trade up and get Bayless or we get lucky and Bayless falls to us.
2) We can move him for a pick that would get us Augustin.

I'd like to see how Nate plays under D'Antoni. I think Mike's system is the perfect fit for the little guy. If you can get a mid 1st round pick in the 15-20 range, you definitely have to consider it, but my first choice would be to see if you can buy any later picks. I would love to get our hands on that #15 from Phoenix.

I voted to keep Nate because I would want a pick in the 13-18 range for him.

I would definitely move Nate for a late 1st rounder.

If we are lucky enough to get Mayo, I'd move Crawful and keep Nate he's a fast little bugger and Mike D needs players like that. Plus he's best shooter on the team and Mike D needs shooters.

Keep him. He was stud with UWash, which was a fly-up-and-down-the-court system. He needs to grow the eff up and learn to stop being a bitch and defend, but I want to see what he can do next year. If he regresses or stagnates, we can just let him sign somewhere else.

I think if the right deal came along (i.e. a decent first round pick) I would want the Knicks to trade him. He has been around long enough to show that he has talent, and is very immature. I think there needs to be a new professionalism in the Knicks locker room that was not there under Isiah. I am not sure if Nate fits that. I think D'Antoni relies on character guys being professionals on and off the court. Nate to this point seems like he needs someone to present him with structure, expectations, rules and consequences to control his knucklehead tendencies.
