I agree. I think a combo of Curry and Jamal IS tradeable. You won't get much at all for it but you'll get something with shorter contracts. And I'd rather have David Lee than have Curry + Jamal. I'd also rather have pick #6 than have Curry + Jamal. So that's why I wouldn't include either Lee or pick #6 with Zach in a trade.
I'd rather not have Lee, Curry, and Effries for considerable cap flexibility.
It's going to be hard coupling Craw and Curry together, they are historic losers with bad contracts. You have to pair them with something attractive. Now Lee and Crawford is probably our best bang for buck trade but there's no way we maintain Curry and Zach on the roster. We have to find a way to get rid of them or as Major said buy Zach out if we can't move him.
If feel we need to trade the pick to better the future I could do 6, Zach, Balkman, Collins, in a 3 way with Philly and Cleveland to get both of their first round picks and Wally World
New York trades Zach, Balkman, Collins, and 6
New York Receives 16th(Philly) and 19th(Cleveland) picks of 2008 and Wally World
Cleveland trades Wally World and 19th
Cleveland receives Reggie Evans, Willie Green, Renaldo Balkman, Collins
Philly trades Reggie Evans, Willie Green, 16th pick
Philly receives Zach Randolph and the 6th pickDraft CDR, Brandon Rush, Mario Chalmers, or IMO he'd be worth the reach Billy Walker. If Westbrook is still on the board then obviously snatch him up at 16.
