Oregon is a mostly white liberal state. High income state, and they voted for Obama didn't they? Im gonna guess more delegates also won by Obama there than in West Virginia.



You think if anyone made a video of black people talking in a similar manner you'd be crying about it being racist. I have heard plenty of black supporting of Obama for many ignorant reasons masking the real truth that they want one of their own as president.

Nalod you can post what ever you want it's an open forum(off topic).

What I was saying by posting the video is that we never see this kind of mindset on national tv (poor white people) and how they speak on how they view the world or politics.

But the local and national media will flaunt and present blacks as un educated or violent and anyone not familiar with blacks as a people will carry a very negative stereotype point of view of us.

I would bet most people(northeasterners) on this forum has never seen that kind of mindset on national news, it's a culture shock just to view it.

I would go on record and say we all can find poor people of any color that hold similar mind views , but in america the one race that is shown is predominatly blacks.

Do you agree?

Playa, with all due respect I can't see the world as you do, and I respect your perogitive that you don't see dumb whites as much as the media portrays blacks in a negative way. I have not walked in your shoes and have not see or heard things as you have heard them.

Watch an episode of Dukes of Hazzard or the Country Music channel when they have programing on, they pretty much look stupid to me!

think of Obama has been elevated because he is black (distingueshed himself as differnt and it got attention), because he is likable, and because he is articulate (stay with me here) but not as you might think. Not because he is likeable and articulte for a black man, but be cause he is fresh, young, speaks great (President Bush sounds like a moron) and carries little baggage He is new. A part of me thinks his inexperience is a negative.

Hillary on the other hand has been brutalized by the media, and its the very media thats been very favorable to Obama.

As far as your original question of how many "intellegent" are out there but think like that is a decent one. I'll chime in to say not many think that stupidly. Really. That was some of the dumbest things I ever heard. And IM sure the editor made sure only the dumbest of the dumb made the final cut.

But don't confuse a voter who wants to vote white because thats how they vote as someone who does not want to vote black. Is it wrong to vote for black voters to vote for Obama only because he black?

Me, Im suprised Gore "won" the 2000 Election with a jewish running mate in Lieberman, and I am suprised that Obama really is leading this thing. Not because he is black, but so much white support!

And maybe I see this a watershed event that he is being accepted for his views first and foremost by millions of white voters!

Most blacks don't watch the dukes of hazzard or the country music channel, but they do watch the local and national news and this is what I was referring to.

All the experience Bush has had and IMHO I couldn't tell he was experienced at all with all the bone head decsions he has made while in office.

In a country where blacks have been treated like 2nd class citizens for soooo long and to see a mulatto man who looks more black than white have a chance to president is oustanding accomplishment in a racist country that america has been.

What you fail to see is many don't want to experience the same party in the whitehouse who represent the poor terrorist leadership we have seen under G.Bush.

If edwards would have won the nominee I personaly would have voted for him, becuz any candidate that has any resemblence or affiliation to the previous administrations namely bush and clinton would NEVER RECIEVE MY VOTE.

It's not about color for me nalod, it's about CHANGE!
